Michigan State basketball is set to host one of the top shooting guards in the 2025 class this weekend.

As previously reported by 247Sports, five-star shooting guard Darius Adams is still scheduled to visit Michigan State this weekend. Adams is hails from La Porte, Ind. and has been a top target for the Spartans throughout his recruiting cycle.

Adams ranks as the No. 4 shooting guard and No. 19 overall prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2025 class. He’s also listed as the No. 2 player from Indiana in the class.

Michigan State is one of many schools that are in pursuit of Adams. According to 247Sports, Michigan State, UConn and Tennessee appear to be the frontrunners for his commitment.

One of the top prospects in the 2025 class is visiting Michigan State basketball this weekend.

Joe Tipton of On3 confirmed on Friday that five-star small forward Jalen Haralson is visiting Michigan State this weekend. Haralson had previously stated he would visit Michigan State this weekend and Tipton confirmed that original report this week.

Haralson ranks as the No. 2 small forward in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2025 class. He’s also listed as the No. 13 overall prospect in the class.

According to 247Sports, Haralson is strongly considering Kansas, Purdue, Indiana, Duke, Missouri, Notre Dame, Auburn and Michigan State. He recently visited Indiana and Notre Dame, and also has visits lined up with Purdue, Missouri and Kansas in the next few weeks.

Michigan State basketball coach Tom Izzo will reportedly be visiting with a top recruit tomorrow.

Izzo will reportedly be “in” to visit with four-star small forward Jordan Scott of Reston, Va. on Wednesday. Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers.com reported the news on Tuesday.

Scott is ranked as the No. 9 small forward in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2025 class. He’s also listed as the No. 50 overall prospect and No. 2 player from Virginia in the class.

Scott is currently strongly considering Michigan State, Maryland and Virginia Tech. All three will have official visits with Scott this fall, with Scott scheduled to come to Michigan State on October 4.

One of the top power forwards in the 2025 class has provided an update on when he’ll announce his college decision.

Four-star power forward Cam Ward of Uppermarlboro, Md. will reportedly announce his college decision before the end of this year. Ward is one of the top targets on the Spartans’ 2025 board.

Ward ranks as the No. 15 power forward in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2025 class. He’s also listed as the No. 48 overall prospect and No. 2 player from Maryland in the class.

Michigan State is one of more than 20 programs to extend Ward an offer. He is reportedly still considering Maryland, Alabama, Kansas State, Michigan State, Vanderbilt and Virginia.

Ward has an official visit scheduled with Michigan State for later this month.

Michigan State basketball is one of a few programs that will be “in” this week to see five-star shooting guard Trey McKenney.

McKenney recently told HS Top Recruits that he expects Michigan State, Michigan, Oregon, Georgetown and USC to all visit him this upcoming week. Coaches are once again able to go visit recruits this week after the dead period came to a close.

McKenney is ranked as the No. 3 shooting guard in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2025 class. He’s also listed as the No. 16 overall player nationally and No. 1 player from Michigan.

McKenney has official visits lined up with Michigan State, Michigan, Oregon, Miami (FL) and Notre Dame over the next few months. He’ll be in East Lansing, Mich. on October 4.

Aristode ranks as the No. 3 small forward in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2025 class. He’s also listed as the No. 19 overall prospect in the class.

Aristode also has upcoming official visits planned for USC and Duke. He has previously visited Arizona and Wake Forest.

Michigan State basketball will be hosting one of the top prospects in the 2025 class in a few weeks.

Five-star small forward Jalen Haralson will reportedly visit Michigan State on September 14, according to HS Top Recruits. He also has visits lined up with Indiana (August 31), Notre Dame (September 7), Missouri (September 21), Purdue (September 28) and Kansas (October 19).

Haralson hails from La Porte, Ind. and ranks as the No. 10 overall prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2025 class. He’s also listed as the No. 2 small forward and top player from Indiana.

Michigan State is one of 20 schools to offer Haralson, according to 247Sports. Auburn, Duke, Gonzaga, Indiana, Kansas, Purdue and Virginia are a few of the notable programs to also offer Haralson.

Michigan State basketball has cracked the top 12 for a big-time prospect in the 2025 class.

Five-star center Chris Cenac included the Spartans on his top 12 schools list earlier this week. Cenac also included UConn, LSU, Auburn, Alabama, Baylor, Tennessee, Houston, Louisville, Texas, Kentucky and Arkansas.

Cenac ranks as the No. 1 center in the 247Sports’ rankings for the 2025 class. He’s also listed as the No. 14 overall prospect in the class and top player from Missouri.

Cenac holds more than 30 scholarship offers, according to On3 insider Joe Tipton. Michigan State is one of the many schools to offer Cenac.

MSU is one of two schools to lock in an official visit with elite five-star small forward Dwayne Aristode

Michigan State is one of two schools to lock in an official visit with elite five-star small forward Dwayne Aristode.

Joe Tipton of On3 is reporting that Aristode has scheduled official visits with Michigan State and Duke. According to 247Sports, Aristode has yet to receive an offer from either the Spartans or Blue Devils, but that certainly could change with upcoming official visits planned.

Aristode is ranked as the No. 3 small forward and No. 18 overall prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings. He is also listed as the No. 1 player from the state of New Hampshire.

At this time, Aristode holds offers from three schools: UCLA, Arizona and Wake Forest. A number of other schools have showed interest in him, though, including Alabama, UConn, Kentucky, Duke, Michigan State and Virginia.
