A bunch of lustful home-wreckers on Twitter are down bad for Mrs. Met

Stop lusting after a baseball!

Mrs. Met has long been the subject of amorous advances by the miscreants on Twitter dot com. The better half of the New York Mets mascot duo has endured many propositions over the years and it doesn’t seem like it’s going to stop any time soon.

On Tuesday, Mrs. Met posted quite the innocuous photograph of her and her husband enjoying Citi Field cuisine in all its glory. What was supposed to be a lovely photo op between husband and wife was taken and debased by a bunch of lustful home-wreckers on Twitter.

Proudly on display for the whole world to see in the quote tweets of this joyous moment between two partners, Twitter users threw themselves at Mrs. Met with some not-so-subtle overtures.

Look, maybe Mr. and Mrs. Met have an open marriage! Or maybe, the pair are polyamorous and are more than happy to accept another partner! Unfortunately, we may never know the truth, so for now users on Twitter will have to continue loudly lusting after a baseball mascot until their prayers are answered.

Editor’s note: We here at For The Win can’t confirm whether these baseballs are monogamous.

An edited photo of Mr. Met with the Oppenheimer cast had fans joking about the Mets’ season

Mr Met. took a photo with the Oppenheimer cast, and people quickly found the joke.

If you hadn’t heard, the New York Mets are having a pretty horrible season after being tipped as 2023 World Series favorites in the spring.

Mets fans got a bit of a reprieve from the disappointing year with the 2023 MLB All-Star Game, but a photo posted by none other than Mr. Met the mascot got New York fans back in their feelings.

The photo was as innocuous as they come, as Mr. Met — in a clearly altered photo — posed with a few members of the Oppenheimer cast (and John Krasinski) ahead of that film’s premiere next week.

However, MLB fans quickly took to the image to make jokes about the Mets being nuclearly bad.

If you are a Mets fan, this post will be as radioactive as they come. If you are not a Mets fan, brace yourself for some absolutely atomic laughter.

Mr. Met might want to find the Barbie cast next for a photo to make up for the responses to this unfortunately hilarious meet-and-greet.

Mr. Met hilariously stole the seat of one of the ‘Smile’ marketeers behind home plate

Hilarious, but still pretty creepy!

We all know Mr. Met would be a perfect fit for a horror film if given the chance.

During the New York Mets’ Tuesday evening game versus the Miami Marlins, baseball fans were once again treated to one of those creeping smiling fans behind home plate. In case you missed the memo, those fans are scary — but effective! — marketeers for the upcoming horror film Smile, a creepy but genius marketing tactic all things considered.

Baseball fans noticed one of the marketeers sitting alarmingly behind the Mets’ home plate early on in the game but by the fifth inning, the woman was hilariously replaced with Mr. Met of all people!

An incredible maneuver from Mr. Met, but still somehow not any less creepy in the slightest. MLB fans thanked Mr. Met for his service to the country for ridding our television screens of those scary smiles.
