Dressed as Tennessee Vol, Peyton Manning leads Morgan Wallen out to concert

Why was Peyton Manning in full Tennessee Volunteer attire on Sunday?

Arch wasn’t the only Manning in college football gear over the weekend.

The Texas quarterback made his first start Saturday in a win over UL-Monroe.

The next night his uncle, Peyton Manning, was back in his Tennessee orange football uniform, accompanying country singer Morgan Wallen out for a concert at Neyland Stadium.

Country music star Morgan Wallen was seen on stage at Arrowhead Stadium wearing a No. 7 jersey, flaked by two #Chiefs stars.

The Kansas City Chiefs have been hard at work preparing for the 2024 season during training camp and will get a much-deserved break from workouts tomorrow.

Though the team practiced on Friday, Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce managed to make their way to Arrowhead Stadium for a Morgan Wallen concert this evening ahead of their scheduled time off.

When Wallen took the stage, he was flanked by the prolific duo, and donning a No. 7 jersey that seemed to play well with the crowd in Kansas City.

Though the country music star’s name appeared on the back of the jersey, it seemed to be a nod to Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker.

It is unclear whether Mahomes or Kelce shared the stage with Wallen or just took their place in the crowd, but their appearance was sure to have fans in attendance starstruck before the headlining performance took place.

Stay tuned to see if the quarterback or tight ends make any more appearances at Wallen’s concert.

Country singer Morgan Wallen dons Peyton Manning jersey during Denver concert

Country singer Morgan Wallen wore Peyton Manning’s Broncos jersey during his Thursday night concert in Denver.

The Denver Broncos have plenty of famous fans from various walks of life. Now they can say they’ve added a country music superstar to that list.

Country singer Morgan Wallen donned a Peyton Manning Denver Broncos jersey on the first performance of his two-night stay in the Mile High City on Friday night. Wallen’s bandmates also donned versions of the new Broncos jerseys that debuted in April.

Wallen, Peyton and Eli Manning have been friends for a long time, as the quarterback duo helped Wallen announce his tour in 2023.

The Hall of Fame quarterback was also spotted with Wallen celebrating the Men’s College World Series win by the Tennessee Volunteers, which is Manning’s alma mater.

Now, this isn’t the only foray into music that Manning has made. In college, Manning famously led the Tennessee marching band in playing “Rocky Top,” the university’s fight song (Manning’s performance is at the 2:00 mark). In 2022, Manning came back on “College Gameday” to lead “Rocky Top” again, this time with former teammate Pat McAfee.

WATCH: Country music superstar Morgan Wallen wears Sean Taylor jersey at concert

Yes, we know Sean Taylor didn’t play for the “Commanders,” but Wallen represented the Washington legend on stage.

Country music superstar Morgan Wallen is one of the more popular musicians in the country, playing in front of sold-out crowds on a nightly basis.

One week before the Washington Commanders open the 2023 NFL season at FedEx Field against the Arizona Cardinals, Wallen brought his “One Night at a Time” world tour to Washington’s home stadium.

Wallen, who has won numerous awards and enjoyed record-breaking success atop the Billboard, often performs in a jersey representing the home team. For his concert at FedEx Field, that meant wearing a Commanders’ jersey.

His choice? The legendary No. 21, worn by the late, great Sean Taylor.

OK, we know, Taylor never played for the Commanders. Taylor’s career spanned from 2004-07 when he played for the then-Redskins. In 2021, Washington retired Taylor’s No. 21. Last year, the franchise unveiled a Taylor memorial outside of FedEx Field, which drew criticism.

It sounds like a good time was had by all.
