The 25-year-old Texan is riding an absolute heater early in 2022, with wins in two of his last three starts following his victory on Sunday at the 2022 Arnold Palmer Invitational. Scheffler shot an even-par 72 in near-U.S. Open conditions to win by one over the trio of Tyrrell Hatton, Viktor Hovland and Billy Horschel.

For his efforts, Scheffler will take home the top prize of $2,160,000, while Hatton, Hovland and Horschel each earned a cool $908,000. Check out how much money each player earned this week below.

The 28-year-old native of Vienna made PGA Tour history as the first Austrian to win on Tour with a birdie on his final hole on Sunday to claim the 2022 Honda Classic at PGA National. The win is Straka’s first on Tour and his first professional victory since the 2018 KC Golf Classic on the Korn Ferry Tour.

The 23-year-old Chilean earned his second Tour win Sunday at the 2022 Genesis Invitational, winning wire-to-wire to become the event’s second-youngest champion.

The Genesis Invitational, hosted by Tiger Woods, is one of three events (Arnold Palmer Invitational, Memorial Tournament) that now feature a purse of $12 million, up from $10.5 million last year. Niemann will take home $2,160,000 for his two-shot win. Last year’s champion, Max Homa, earned $1,674,000.

The 29-year-old from Japan earned his eighth win on the PGA Tour on Sunday, claiming the 2022 Sony Open in Hawaii via a playoff with Russell Henley after firing a 7-under 63 in the final round on Sunday at Waialae Country Club. With the victory, Matsuyama is the first two-time winner this season on Tour and is now tied with K.J. Choi for most wins by an Asian-born player on Tour.

Hovland, who has three PGA Tour wins and one DP World Tour win to his name, finished at 18 under to claim the top prize of $1,000,000, one shot clear of Scottie Scheffler, who will leave with $375,000.
