2023 Toto Japan Classic prize money payouts for each LPGA player

It pays to play well on the LPGA.

Mone Inami earned $300,000 for her first LPGA victory at the Toto Japan Classic. Whether or not that money becomes official for the JLPGA player depends on whether or not she chooses to accept LPGA membership.

Official money no longer determines LPGA status, however, as the Race to the CME Globe list took its place several years ago. Inami will also earn 500 points in the Race to the CME Globe should she accept LPGA membership by day’s end.

The 78-player, no-cut field means everyone gets paid. Switzerland’s Morgane Metraux finished last and earned $3,611.

Here’s how the rest of the field fared at the 2023 Toto Japan Classic in Ibaraki, Japan.

2023 LIV Golf Team Championship prize money payouts for each team in Miami

It pays to play well on the Saudi-backed circuit.

DORAL, Fla. — It pays to play well in the LIV Golf League, just ask Crushers GC.

Bryson DeChambeau’s team finished at 11 under to win the 2023 LIV Golf Team Championship and claim the top prize of $14 million Sunday at Trump National Doral’s Blue Monster. Bubba Watson’s RangeGoats GC finished runner-up, with Joaquin Niemann’s Torque GC in third and last year’s champions, 4Aces GC led by Dustin Johnson, in fourth.

All four scores counted in Sunday’s final round, which is different from LIV’s regular-season events where the lowest score is dropped each day. The semifinal winners competed for the top-four places (Tier 1), while teams to lose on Saturday competed for places 5-8 (Tier 2), with Friday’s losers going for places 9-12 (Tier 3).

But remember, team prize money goes back to the team at LIV events. In the Team Championship, the teams keep 60 percent and each player takes home 10 percent. Not too shabby for three days (at most) of work.

Here’s how much money each team earned this week near Miami.

2023 Zozo Championship prize money payouts for each PGA Tour player

It pays to play well on the PGA Tour.

Collin Morikawa is officially a $25-million man on the PGA Tour.

The 26-year-old shot the low round of the tournament on Sunday, a bogey-free 63 at Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club northeast of Tokyo, to win the Zozo Championship by six strokes.

Morikawa banked $1.53 million to boost his career earnings on the PGA Tour to $26,276,135. Morikawa had won five times in his first 39 starts as a pro on the Tour but had gone 46 starts without a win.

Beau Hossler and Eric Cole were both seeking their maiden Tour title but shot 70s and tied for second. It marked Hossler’s third career second-place finish and solidified his spot in the top 50 in the FedEx Cup Fall. Cole finished second for the second time this season. They both earned $748,000.

Defending champion Keegan Bradley finished T-19 while Japan favorite Hideki Matsuyama T-51 and fan favorite Rickie Fowler was T-64. Here’s a look at the final earnings.

LIV Golf’s individual prize money list features 11 players who have earned more than $10 million

Talor Gooch has earned more than $20 million in individual winnings.

You can’t talk about LIV Golf for long without bringing up the exorbitant amount of money the players compete for each event.

With $20 million up for grabs at regular season events ($4 million to the winner), it certainly pays to play well in the LIV Golf League, just ask the likes of Talor Gooch, Dustin Johnson, Cameron Smith and Brooks Koepka.

The four players have each eclipsed $19 million in individual prize money across the last two LIV Golf seasons, with Gooch as the only player to hit the $20 million mark. Across 20 regular-season events, 11 players have earned more than $10 million by themselves, and that’s without including how much they each made upfront for signing with the upstart circuit financially backed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund.

As the season comes to a close this weekend at the 2023 LIV Golf Team Championship at Trump National Doral, here’s a look at who has cashed in for the most individual prize money so far (We’re using individual prize money only as team prize money can be distributed in different ways within each squad).
