Clemson Soccer: Mohamed Seye Hat Trick leads Tigers to 6-0 victory

CLEMSON SHUTS OUT PRESBYTERIAN COLLEGE, 6-0

Mohamed Seye scored his first career hat trick. At the same time, Nathan Richmond, Pape Mar Boye, and Jackson Wrobel each added a goal to lead the Clemson United Men’s Soccer team to a 6-0 shutout victory over Presbyterian on Tuesday night at Historic Riggs Field.

During the match, the Tigers had more shots on goal than the Blue Hose, with a total of 21 shots, of which 11 were on target. Seye had four shots on goal, and in total, eleven different Tigers managed to take a shot.

On the defensive side, Joseph Andema started as the goalkeeper and made one save before being replaced by Logan Brown after 65 minutes into the match.

Seye achieved the hat trick in the first half, and the Tigers entered the locker room with a 4-0 lead after 45 minutes. The match’s final goal came from a penalty kick in the 78th minute.

The Tigers will look to extend their two-game win streak with a road trip to Notre Dame on September 9th.
