UFC 276: Brad Riddell vs. Jalin Turner odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s UFC 276 odds and lines between Brad Riddell vs. Jalin Turner, with MMA picks, tips and predictions.

In a lightweight bout in the prelims, Brad Riddell and Jalin Turner meet Saturday at UFC 276 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Below, we analyze the UFC 276 Riddell vs. Turner odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

The early prelims can be viewed on ESPN/ESPN+ at 6 p.m. ET, followed by the prelims on ABC/ESPN/ESPN+ at 8 p.m. The main card on Pay-Per-View starts at 10 p.m.

Riddell heads to the octagon looking to bounce back after a 3rd-round KO/TKO loss to Rafael Fiziev in early December at the UFC’s APEX Facility in Vegas. The loss was his 1st in 5 fights since arriving at the UFC level. His first 4 wins were each by decision.

Turner is on a 4-bout win streak, all by finishes. That includes a 2nd-round KO/TKO at UFC 272 last time out against Jamie Mullarkey in March. Two of those wins are via submission, and 2 by way of KO/TKO, showing his tremendous versatility. He hasn’t gone longer than 4:20 of the 2nd period in 6 of his 7 fights since arriving at the UFC level.

Turner has all the physical advantages in this fight, standing a whopping 8 inches taller than his counterpart, while posting a 6-inch reach advantage. The southpaw also holds a 6.51-to-4.76 significant strikes landed per minute advantage, and a 1.73 submission average while registering an amazing 80.00 takedown-accuracy percentage.

UFC 276 Riddell vs. Turner odds and lines

Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at 6:19 a.m. ET.

  • Fight result (2-way line): Riddell +120 (bet $100 to win $120) | Turner -155 (bet $155 to win $100)
  • Total rounds Over 2.5 (+125) | Under 2.5 (-175)
  • Will the fight go the distance? Yes (+150) | No (-210)

[tipico]

UFC 276 Riddell vs. Turner picks and predictions

Records: Riddell (10-2-0) | Turner (12-5-0)

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

TURNER (-155) has been on a roll lately, scoring 4 consecutive stoppages, and doing so with his fists and in the ground game. He will use his tremendous physical advantages in height and reach to make quick work of Riddell (+120) in this prelim bout.

In addition to playing Turner straight up, I like TURNER BY TKO/KO (+175) at a nice price. He will use that 6-inch reach advantage to keep Riddell at arm’s length before going in for the kill.

Over/Under (O/U)

Turner generally doesn’t waste a lot of time when he does get the stoppage. Riddell, on the other hand, has ended up going the distance in 5 of his past 6 pro bouts, including 4 of 5 at the UFC level.

Riddell hasn’t faced a competitor like Turner, however. I expect this to go UNDER 2.5 ROUNDS (-175), and while it’s a little on the pricey side, this might be the best play on the board due to Turner’s knockout ability.

UFC 276: Jim Miller vs. Donald Cerrone odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s UFC 276 odds and lines between Jim Miller vs. Donald Cerrone, with MMA picks, tips and predictions.

In a welterweight bout in the prelims, Jim Miller and Donald Cerrone meet Saturday at UFC 276 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Below, we analyze the UFC 276 Miller vs. Cerrone odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

The early prelims can be viewed on ESPN/ESPN+ at 6 p.m. ET, followed by the prelims on ABC/ESPN/ESPN+ at 8 p.m. The main card on Pay-Per-View starts at 10 p.m.

Miller takes the walk to the octagon with a pair of 2nd-round KO/TKO wins over Erick Gonzalez and Nikolas Motta in his past 2 fights. Despite that success, he is still just 3-3 across the previous 6 outings. His 3 wins are finishes, while his 3 setbacks are each via unanimous decision.

Cerrone – a.k.a. “Cowboy” – was expected to fight Joe Lauzon at UFC Fight Night 208 in late April, but it was pushed to UFC 274. However, Cowboy pulled out of the match due to an undisclosed illness. The two were expected to fight in Austin in June, but it was Lauzon who was then befallen by illness.

Cerrone is hungry to snap an 0-5 skid with a no contest, including a 1st-round KO/TKO loss to Alex Morono last time out in May 2021. Cowboy is pretty much hungry just to get back into the octagon to fight anybody after the lengthy hiatus and delays.

UFC 276 Miller vs. Cerrone odds and lines

Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at 5:54 a.m. ET.

  • Fight result (2-way line): Miller -200 (bet $200 to win $100) | Cerrone +150 (bet $100 to win $150)
  • Total rounds Over 1.5 (-170) | Under 1.5 (+122)
  • Will the fight go the distance? Yes (+130) | No (-180)

[tipico]

UFC 276 Miller vs. Cerrone picks and predictions

Records: Miller (34-16) | Cerrone (36-16)

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

The wildly popular Cerrone (+150) is 39 years old and winding down his illustrious career. He once fought Rafael dos Anjos for the title back in December 2015, but now he is just trying to hang on.

Miller (-200) will cost 2 times your potential return, and is only worth tossing into a parlay, not betting him straight up.

Instead, look to MILLER BY KO/TKO (+300) for a chance to triple up by playing method of victory. His past 2 wins have been knockouts, and Cowboy has been dropped by KO/TKO 4 times in his past 6 outings since June 2019.

Over/Under (O/U)

No (-180): Fight to go the distance is the safe play, but it’s a bit costly. Take a chance on UNDER 1.5 ROUNDS (+122) at plus-money instead. Cerrone’s 3 TKO/KO losses – against Morono, Conor McGregor and Justin Gaethje – in his past 5 fights each occurred in the 1st round.

It’s uncertain how much Cerrone has left in the tank at this juncture.

UFC on ESPN 38: Neil Magny vs. Shavkat Rakhmonov odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s UFC on ESPN 38 odds and lines between Neil Magny vs. Shavkat Rakhmonov, with MMA picks, tips and predictions.

In a welterweight bout on the main card, Neil Magny and Shavkat Rakhmonov meet Saturday at UFC on ESPN 38 – also known as UFC Vegas 57 – at the UFC’s APEX Facility. Below, we analyze the UFC on ESPN 38 Magny vs. Rakhmonov odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

The prelims can be viewed on ESPN2/ESPN+ at 7 p.m. ET and the main card on ESPN/ESPN+ at 10 p.m. ET.

The veteran Magny stands 2 inches taller than the challenger, while holding a 3-inch reach advantage, but he is also 7 years older and on the tail end of an illustrious career.

Each of Magny’s past 6 fights have ended up going the distance (5-1). The last fight that didn’t involve the judges was a 4th-round KO/TKO loss to Santiago Ponzinibbio in the main event in Nov. 2018.

Rakhmonov is a perfect 3-for-3 since arriving at the UFC level, including a 1st-round KO/TKO of Carlston Harris last time out in February. His other 2 victories came via submission, including a win over veteran Alex Oliveira at UFC 254 in his debut.

In 15 career pro bouts, Rakhmonov has never went the distance, winning 8 fights via KO/TKO, and 7 by way of submission. The rear-naked choke and the triangle choke are his specialties.

Watch this card with ESPN+ by signing up here.

UFC on ESPN 38 Magny vs. Rakhmonov odds and lines

Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at 7:45 a.m. ET.

  • Fight result (2-way line): Magny +310 (bet $100 to win $310) | Rakhmonov -450 (bet $450 to win $100)
  • Total Rounds Over 2.5 (+120) | Under 2.5 (-165)
  • Will the fight go the distance? Yes (+140) | No (-200)

[tipico]

UFC on ESPN 38 Magny vs. Rakhmonov picks and predictions

Records: Magny (26-9-0) | Rakhmonov (15-0-0)

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

Rakhmonov (-450) is the on the fast track toward a title in the welterweight division. He has been impressive since arriving, and while a win over Magny (+310) won’t necessarily move the needle a lot, it will keep him on his trajectory.

However, you cannot risk 4 1/2 times your potential return, although a win over “The Haitian Sensation” is all but a certainty. And while Magny has ended up going the distance in 6 straight, Rakhmonov has never had a fight go all the way. It won’t happen here, either. Take RAKHMONOV BY TKO/KO (+130) for a solid value.

Over/Under (O/U)

UNDER 2.5 ROUNDS (-165) is the best play on the board. Rakhmonov doesn’t waste a lot of time, and 2 of his 3 fights at the UFC level have ended in the 1st round. Magny is the most experienced fighter he will have faced to date, but the latter will face the same fate, a quick loss.

UFC on ESPN 38: Arman Tsarukyan vs. Mateusz Gamrot odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s UFC on ESPN 38 odds and lines between Arman Tsarukyan vs. Mateusz Gamrot, with MMA picks, tips and predictions.

In a lightweight bout in main event, Arman Tsarukyan and Mateusz Gamrot meet Saturday at UFC on ESPN 38 – also known as UFC Vegas 57 – at the UFC’s APEX Facility. Below, we analyze the UFC on ESPN 38 Tsarukyan vs. Gamrot odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

The prelims can be viewed on ESPN2/ESPN+ at 7 p.m. ET and the main card on ESPN/ESPN+ at 10 p.m. ET.

Tsarukyan takes the walk to the octagon with a 2-inch reach advantage, although he does give up 3 inches in height.

After losing his UFC debut to Islam Makhachev in April 2019, he has posted 5 consecutive wins, with 3 by way of unanimous decision, and the past 2 via KO/TKO. He won his last bout, in Feb. 2022, with a 2nd-round win over Joel Alvarez.

Gamrot owns a slight 3.79-to-3.75 significant strikes landed per minute advantage, although Tsarukyan is far more accurate at 61.6% to just 50.0%.

Gamrot heads into this main event bout looking to stay hot. After losing his UFC debut against Guram Kutateladze by split decision in Oct. 2020, he has rattled off 3 straight victories via stoppage. The most recent bout was a 2nd-round KO/TKO win over Diego Ferreira in Dec. 2021. Two of the wins were by way of knockout, with the other a 1st-round submission of Jeremy Stephens in July 2021, showing his immense versatility.

UFC on ESPN 38 Tsarukyan vs. Gamrot odds and lines

Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at 7:30 a.m. ET.

  • Fight result (2-way line): Tsarukyan -280 (bet $280 to win $100) | Gamrot +210 (bet $100 to win $210)
  • Total Rounds Over 4.5 (-145) | Under 4.5 (+105)
  • Will the fight go the distance? Yes (-117) | No (-116)

[tipico]

UFC on ESPN 38 Tsarukyan vs. Gamrot picks and predictions

Records: Tsarukyan (18-2-0) | Gamrot (20-1-0)

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

Tsarukyan (-280) will cost more than 2 1/2 times your potential return. That’s risky, especially against Gamrot (+210), who has been on a roll lately, too.

This one figures to go long into the night, and should make side bettors nervous for its entirety. In the end, TSARUKYAN BY POINTS (+145) will be the play, snapping his modest 2-bout run with a stoppage.

Over/Under (O/U)

OVER 4.5 ROUNDS (-145) is a good play if you’d like a little bit of wiggle room in the event of a late Round 5 finish. Yes (-117): Fight to go the distance isn’t that much less, so just stick with the Over. This fight should end via unanimous decision in favor of Tsarukyan.

UFC on ESPN 37: Donald Cerrone vs. Joe Lauzon odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s UFC on ESPN 37 odds and lines between Donald Cerrone vs. Joe Lauzon, with MMA picks, tips and predictions.

In a lightweight bout on the main card, Donald Cerrone and Joe Lauzon meet Saturday at UFC on ESPN 37 at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas. Below, we analyze the UFC on ESPN 37 Cerrone vs. Lauzon odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

The fights can be viewed on ESPN/ESPN+ with the prelims on ESPN/ESPN+ at 4 p.m. ET and the main card at 7 p.m. ET.

Cerrone, a.k.a. “Cowboy”, steps into the octagon with an 0-5-1 skid in tow. The 39-year-old veteran was knocked out in the 1st round by Alex Morono last time out in May 2021, a fight which came on the heels of a no contest against Niko Price in Sept. 2020. His last victory came in May 2019 against Al Iaquinta in a unanimous-decision win.

Two of his last 3 fights went the distance, although 4 of his past 6 have resulted in him losing via KO/TKO stoppage.

Lauzon would like to add to the woes of Cerrone. “J-Lau” is coming off a 1st-round knockout win over Jonathan Pearce last time out in Oct. 2019, making this a return from a 32-month hiatus. This fight was scheduled for late April but canceled for undisclosed reasons. It was then rescheduled for UFC 274 but wiped out with Cowboy dealing with what is believed to be food poisoning.

UFC on ESPN 37 Cerrone vs. Lauzon odds and lines

Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at 8:30 a.m. ET.

  • Fight result (2-way line): Cerrone -170 (bet $170 to win $100) | Lauzon +133 (bet $100 to win $133)
  • Total Rounds Over 1.5 (-140) | Under 1.5 (+102)
  • Will the fight go the distance? Yes (+165) | No (-240)

[tipico]

UFC on ESPN 37 Cerrone vs. Lauzon picks and predictions

Records: Cerrone (36-16-0) | Lauzon (28-16-0)

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

Cerrone heads into this one on a major skid, and LAUZON (+133) could potentially be rusty, as he has just one fight under his belt since April 2018. UFC CEO Dana White suggested that the loser of this fight lay down his gloves in the octagon similar to Joanna Jedrzejczyk last weekend.

Lauzon has been stuck in neutral for the majority of his career. He has managed to win just 11 of his past 22 fights, but it’s often a lot of fun. He gets plenty of knockout wins and losses, and you can expect that’s going to be the case again here.

Play LAUZON BY TKO/KO (+350) on method of victory for a chance to nearly quadruple up on your initial wager.

Over/Under (O/U)

OVER 1.5 ROUNDS (-140) is the way to go, as both veterans are experienced and proud and have waited a long time to face each other. I don’t believe this goes the distance, as none of Lauzon’s last 3 fights has gone the distance, and with Cowboy involved in stoppages in 4 of his last 6 outings.

In a middleweight bout on the main card, Tim Means and Kevin Holland meet Saturday at UFC on ESPN 37 at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas. Below, we analyze the UFC on ESPN 37 Means vs. Holland odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

The fights can be viewed on ESPN+ with the prelims on ESPN/ESPN+ at 4 p.m. ET and the main card on ESPN/ESPN+ at 7 p.m. ET.

Means enters this bout on a 3-fight win streak, all via unanimous decision. That including a win over Nicolas Dalby last time out nearly 1 calendar year ago at the UFC’s APEX Facility.

Holland is coming off a 2nd-round KO/TKO win over Alex Oliveira last time out at UFC 276 in early March. That snapped an 0-2-1 skid dating back to his victory over Jacare Souza in Dec. 2020.

UFC on ESPN 37 Means vs. Holland odds and lines

Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at 8:30 a.m. ET.

  • Fight result (2-way line): Means +235 (bet $100 to win $235) | Holland -320 (bet $320 to win $100)
  • Total Rounds Over 2.5 (-125) | Under 2.5 (-110)
  • Will the fight go the distance? Yes (-112) | No (-122)

[tipico]

UFC on ESPN 37 Means vs. Holland picks and predictions

Records: Means (32-12-1) | Holland (22-7-0)

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

Holland (-320) comes in as the much more consistent fighter lately, posting a 6-2-1 record across his past 9 fights at the UFC level. While yes, he is just 1-2-1 across the previous 4, the level of competition has been a lot more impressive than that of Means (+235).

Means has managed 3 straight UD wins, but he is just 6-5-1 across the past 12 UFC fights.

I like HOLLAND BY POINTS (+133) for a much better value on the method of victory.

Over/Under (O/U)

OVER 2.5 ROUNDS (-125) is a good play if you want a little wiggle room, not trusting that this one is going to go the distance. However, YES (-112): FIGHT TO GO THE DISTANCE is a good play. Means’ past 3 fights have gone all the way, with 2 of the past 4 fights for Holland needing the help of the judges to decide a winner.

UFC on ESPN 37: Calvin Kattar vs. Josh Emmett odds, picks and predictions

In a featherweight championship bout in the main event, Calvin Kattar and Josh Emmett meet Saturday at UFC on ESPN 37 at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas. Below, we analyze the UFC on ESPN 37 Kattar vs. Emmett odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

The fights can be viewed on ESPN+ with the prelims on ESPN/ESPN+ at 4 p.m. ET and the main card on ESPN/ESPN+ at 7 p.m. ET.

Kattar takes the walk to the octagon with a 5-inch height advantage and a 2-inch reach advantage. He also leads with a 5.19-to-4.28 significant strikes landed per minute advantage, while posting a 43.15% significant strikes accuracy advantage.

He bounced back with a unanimous-decision victory over Giga Chikadze in the main event in mid-January after a UD loss to Max Holloway in Jan. 2021. Three straight fights have ended up going the distance, while going all the way in 12 of his previous 16 professional bouts.

Emmett is a decisive underdog, but he enters as the hotter fighter with 4 consecutive victories. That includes a unanimous-decision win over Dan Ige at UFC 269, and also a KO win over Michael Johnson back in March 2019. While just 2 of his past 6 fights have gone the distance, 6 of his 10 fights overall at the UFC have required the judges to decide a victor.

  • Fight result (2-way line): Kattar -250 (bet $250 to win $100) | Emmett +190 (bet $100 to win $190)
  • Total Rounds Over 4.5 (-150) | Under 4.5 (+110)
  • Will the fight go the distance? Yes (-133) | No (-103)

[tipico]

UFC on ESPN 37 Kattar vs. Emmett picks and predictions

Records: Kattar (23-5-0) | Emmett (17-2-0)

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

Kattar (-250) has all the physical advantages, and he leads in significant strikes landed per minute, too. The only advantage for Emmett (+190), and it’s a slight advantage, is his work in the ground game.

Still, playing Kattar with a risk of 2 1/2 times your potential return is just too much risk. Choose a method of victory, and roll with KATTAR BY POINTS (+120) at plus-money for a good value.

Over/Under (O/U)

YES (-133): FIGHT TO GO THE DISTANCE is the play here. Again, Kattar has not had a stoppage in 3 straight fights, while Emmett has ended up going all the way in 2 in a row and 6 of the past 10 outings.

In a women’s flyweight championship bout on the main card, Valentina Shevchenko and Taila Santos meet Saturday at UFC 275 at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore. Below, we analyze the UFC 275 Shevchenko vs. Santos odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

The fights can be viewed on ESPN+ with the early prelims starting at 7 p.m. ET, the prelims on ESPN2/ESPN+ at 8 p.m. ET and the main card on pay-per-view at 10 p.m. ET.

Shevchenko won the title at UFC 231 in Dec. 2018 with a unanimous-decision victory over Joanna Jedrzejczyk, and she has been the champ ever since. The Kyrgyzstani fighter, a.k.a. “Bullet”, has defended her title successfully in each of the past 6 outings.

Shevchenko’s last victory was a 4th-round KO/TKO against Lauren Murphy at UFC 266 in September. Four of her last 6 defenses have been via knockout, with 2 unanimous-decision wins.

Santos lost her UFC debut via split-decision against Mara Romero Borella back in Feb. 2019. She has rattled off 4 straight wins since, including a first-round submission over Joanne Wood last time out in Nov. 2021.

Shevchenko holds a 67.44-to-59.46 significant strikes accuracy percentage advantage. While Santos has a slight 1.5-inch reach advantage and an advantage in the ground game, Shevchenko will look to keep Santos upright and brawl her way to a win.

UFC 275 Shevchenko vs. Santos picks and predictions

Records: Shevchenko (22-3-0) | Santos (19-1-0)

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

Shevchenko (-600) will cost you six times your potential return, and that’s super risky against a fighter that has lost just 1 time. I don’t feel as if Santos is going to win, but she is dangerous in the ground game, and an upset is certainly not something you can entirely rule out.

SHEVCHENKO BY TKO/KO (+220) is a good bet, as when she wins, she wins via knockout more often than not. Four of her last 6 fights have ended with her arm raised as champ via KO/TKO.

If you like the challenger, Santos by submission (+1400) would be the play.

Over/Under (O/U)

NO (-110): FIGHT TO GO THE DISTANCE is the lean here. I just don’t see this one going the entire 5 rounds. Shevchenko has big-time knockout ability, and if Santos is to win, she’ll do so via the ground with a submission win. Neither will want to leave it in the hands of the judges.

UFC 275: Zhang Weili vs. Joanna Jedrzejczyk odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s UFC 275 odds and lines between Zhang Weili and Joanna Jedrzejczyk, with MMA picks, tips and predictions.

In a women’s strawweight bout on the main card, Zhang Weili and Joanna Jedrzejczyk meet Saturday at UFC 275 at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore. Below, we analyze the UFC 275 Zhang vs. Jedrzejczyk odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

The fights can be viewed on ESPN+ with the early prelims starting at 7 p.m. ET, the prelims on ESPN2/ESPN+ at 8 p.m. ET and the main card on pay-per-view at 10 p.m. ET.

Zhang has lost back-to-back championship bouts to Rose Namajunas, including last time out in Nov. 2021 at UFC 268. The last time these fighters met, in March 2020, many fight fans well remember.

Jedrzejczyk posted a photo wearing a gas mask, joking about the coronavirus outbreak in China. The Chinese fighter did not appreciate it at all, and obviously remembered it well. In their UFC 248 bout at the UFC’s APEX Facility, Zhang battered, bruised and literally rearranged the face of Jedrzejczyk, as the Polish fighter became a meme with her swollen face and ugly injuries.

That loss was the last time we saw Jedrzejczyk, as she has needed all 15 months to recover from her facial injuries. She enters just 2-4 across the past six fights, and she has ended up going the distance in 5 straight, and 9 of the past 10 outings.

UFC 275 Zhang vs. Jedrzejczyk odds and lines

Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at 8:30 a.m. ET.

  • Fight result (2-way line): Zhang -165 (bet $165 to win $100) | Jedrzejczyk +130 (bet $100 to win $130)
  • Total Rounds Over 2.5 (-340) | Under 2.5 (+220)
  • Will the fight go the distance? Yes (-240) | No (+165)

[tipico]

UFC 275 Zhang vs. Jedrzejczyk picks and predictions

Records: Zhang (21-3-0) | Jedrzejczyk (16-4-0)

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

ZHANG (-165) is a good bet to play just straight up on the 2-way line. She destroyed Jedrzejczyk, literally, in their last meeting. It’s hard to envision this one going any differently, although this time Zhang won’t have the anger of Jedrzejczyk poking fun at her country to fuel her fire.

Zhang has gone the distance in 3 of the past 5 fights, while Jedrzejczyk has needed the help of the judges in 9 of the past 10 outings. Take ZHANG BY POINTS (+140) for the method of victory, too.

Over/Under (O/U)

Yes (-240): Fight to go the distance is too expensive, costing you nearly 2 1/2 times your return. Over 2.5 Rounds (-340) is even more expensive, and just not worth it.

PASS, and just stick to the 2-way line and/or Method of Victory wager.

UFC 275: Glover Teixeira vs. Jiri Prochazka odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s UFC 275 odds and lines between Glover Teixeira vs. Jiri Prochazka, with MMA picks, tips and predictions.

In a light heavyweight championship bout on the main card, Glover Teixeira and Jiri Prochazka meet Saturday at UFC 275 at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore. Below, we analyze the UFC 275 Teixeira vs. Prochazka odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

The fights can be viewed on ESPN+ with the early prelims starting at 7 p.m. ET, the prelims on ESPN2/ESPN+ at 8 p.m. ET and the main card on pay-per-view at 10 p.m. ET.

Teixeira, the 42-year-old champ, dropped Jan Blachowicz at UFC 267 on Oct. 30, 2021, to win the strap for the first time in his illustrious career. He won in the 2nd round via submission. That marked his 2nd straight win, and 4th in his last 6 fights, by that method.

Teixeira has gone the distance just once in his last six outings, a split-decision win over Nikita Krylov in Sept. 2019.

Prochazka enters this fight with a big advantage, as he is 13 years younger than the champ. He has won each of his two fights at the UFC level by way of KO/TKO, including a second-round knockout of Dominick Reyes last time out in the main event May 1.

Each of his last 10 pro fights has ended in KO/TKO wins. While he is 28-3-1 in his 32-fight career, he is 25-2 by way of knockout, and just 2 of his pro fights went the distance.

UFC 275 Teixeira vs. Prochazka odds and lines

Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at 8:12 a.m. ET.

  • Fight result (2-way line): Teixeira +160 (bet $100 to win $160) | Prochazka -210 (bet $210 to win $100)
  • Total Rounds Over 1.5 (-160) | Under 1.5 (+115)
  • Will the fight go the distance? Yes (+340) | No (-600)

[tipico]

UFC 275 Teixeira vs. Prochazka picks and predictions

Records: Teixeira (33-7-0) | Prochazka (28-3-1)

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

Prochazka (-210) is the future of the light heavyweight division, and the future is now. However, betting more than two times your potential return is risky business. PASS, and look to the method of victory instead.

PROCHAZKA BY TKO/KO (-130) is the better bet, as he is a knockout machine. While facing the venerable Teixeira is a major step up in competition, it’s a 42-year-old Tex, and he is riding off into the sunset.

Over/Under (O/U)

OVER 1.5 ROUNDS (-160) is a slam-dunk play. Teixeira might end up going down, but he is going to make the up-and-comer work to take his belt. He is tough as nails, and he went the distance in his most recent loss in July 2018. He was knocked out in the first round by Anthony Johnson back at UFC 202, but Prochazka is not the same caliber as “Rumble” Johnson, at least not yet.
