A former Michigan State soccer star is on the move.

Left-back DeJuan Jones has reportedly been acquired by the Columbus Crew from the New England Revolution in a big-time MLS deal. Jones has been with the Revolution since he left Michigan State in 2019.

Jones has also appeared for the U.S. Men’s National Team on several occasions.

MSU will be on BTN three times this fall:

The Big Ten Network has been slowly releasing their TV schedule for the upcoming fall season. The latest sport to release their TV schedule this fall is the MSU men’s soccer program. In 2024, the Spartans will be looking to make their first NCAA Tournament since 2018, where they made the College Cup.

In their quest to return to glory, MSU will be featured on BTN three times: Oct. 1 against Northwestern, Oct. 22 against Michigan and Oct. 29 against Ohio State.

The Michigan State soccer program program has made significant strides under Damon Rensing and have become a consistent program in the Big Ten.

As the team prepares for their 2024 season, they are going through a spring schedule to better enhance themselves. Within that spring schedule, the Spartans welcomed in their rivals, Michigan.

Michigan State defeated Michigan on the pitch, 3-0.

MSU’s women’s soccer team brought home a plethora of Big Ten awards after an outstanding 2023 season:

The Michigan State women’s soccer team once again had an outstanding season under head coach Jeff Hosler. Going 12-3-3 and taking home their second straight Big Ten championship, Michigan State is building a very special program in East Lansing.

Along with the Big Ten championship, the Spartans brought home a plethora of Big Ten awards, honoring the outstanding work the team did over the course of the 2023 season:

Jeff Hosler wins Big Ten coach of the year award

Jeff Hosler is your Big Ten coach of the year!

Michigan State women’s soccer is having a historical season in 2022-23 under Jeff Hosler who is in his second season as the head man of the Spartans program.

The Spartans have claimed the Big Ten regular season championship after an undefeated Big Ten season. The team is also ranked at No. 6 in the nation heading into the postseason.

Hosler had done wonders with Grand Valley State’s program and it seems that he is going to do the same in East Lansing.

Former Michigan State soccer star DeJuan Jones helps get USMNT past Canada with slick assist

It took a shootout for the United States Men’s National Team to move past Canada on Sunday in the CONCACAF Quarter-final, but it was a former Michigan State soccer standout who helped give the Americans their first goal of the day.

DeJuan Jones, an East Lansing High School alumnus who played for Michigan State soccer from 2015-18, hit Brandon Vasquez with an amazing pass to put the USMNT up 1-0 on Canada.

The Americans ended up winning 3-2 after the shootout.
