Michigan State football kicker Jonathan Kim sets new school record vs. Iowa

Jonathan Kim has etched his name in the MSU record books

Playing against a tough Iowa defense on Saturday night, Michigan State football turned to kicker Jonathan Kim to put numbers on the board for them, and Kim delivered in historic fashion for the Spartans. Kim set the Michigan State record for field goals in a game when he hit his sixth field goal against the Hawkeyes.

Kim was 6-for-7, with his longest field goal being 55 yards. He also hit an extra point for a total of 19 points on the night. Kim passed John Langelow and Paul Edinger who both had five in a game, with Edinger doing it twice.
