Michigan State hockey has regained the top spot in the USCHO.com rankings from the team they just played this past weekend.

The Spartans earned five of the six available points in this past weekend’s road series at previously No. 1 Minnesota, earning officially a tie on Friday and win on Saturday. Those two results meant Michigan State has moved back to No. 1 in USCHO.com’s updated rankings released on Monday.

The Spartans were No. 1 before this past week when they dropped to No. 3.

A total of four Big Ten teams were included in the rankings this week. Other than Michigan State at No. 1, there was Minnesota (No. 3), Michigan (No. 9) and Ohio State (No. 14).

Michigan State hockey’s time at No. 1 was shortlived.

The Spartans dropped a few spots in the updated USCHO.com Division I Men’s Poll released on Monday. Michigan State is now No. 3 behind Minnesota (No. 1) and Boston College (No. 2).

Michigan State moved up to No. 1 a few weeks ago, but only remained in that spot for two weeks following a weekend split at Wisconsin. The Spartans did, however, still received four first-place votes this week.

Michigan State is one of only four Big Ten teams ranked this week. Other than Minnesota and Michigan State, the league has Michigan (No. 8) and Ohio State (No. 15) ranked this week.

Michigan State hockey continues to be one of the highest-ranked teams in the country.

Michigan State held its position at No. 4 in the updated USCHO.com Men’s Hockey Division I rankings released on Monday. The Spartans have been No. 4 in each week of the poll besides one when they moved up to No. 3.

The Spartans swept previously unbeaten Ohio State this past weekend to open Big Ten play. Michigan State is now 7-1 overall on the year, with the lone loss coming against No. 2 Boston College.

The Spartans are one of six teams from the Big Ten in this week’s poll. Minnesota is now the highest-ranked Big Ten team at No. 3, with Michigan (No. 5), Ohio State (No. 14) and Penn State (No. 18) following.

Michigan State hockey was off this past weekend but they still saw some movement in the latest USCHO.com poll.

The Spartans dropped one spot in the updated poll released on Monday, with Michigan State coming in at No. 4. The Spartans have been No. 4 every week except this most recent when they moved up to No. 3.

Michigan State is 5-1 overall this year, and will open conference play this week in a two-game tilt against Ohio State.

The Spartans are one of six teams from the Big Ten in this week’s poll. Minnesota is now the highest-ranked Big Ten team at No. 3, with Michigan (No. 7), Ohio State (No. 13), Penn State (No. 19) and Notre Dame (No. 20) following.

Michigan State hockey moved closer to the top spot in this week’s updated USCHO.com rankings.

The Spartans moved up one spot to No. 3 in this week’s updated USCHO.com national rankings for Division I men’s hockey. Michigan State started the year at No. 4 and hasn’t moved off that spot until this week.

Michigan State picked up a road two-game series sweep of Canisius this past weekend. The Spartans are now 5-1 overall, with the lone loss coming to No. 2 Boston College.

Six teams from the Big Ten were included in the rankings this week. Behind the Spartans was Minnesota at No. 4, Michigan at No. 11, Ohio State at No. 15, Penn State at No. 18 and Notre Dame at No. 19.

Michigan State hockey remains in the top five nationally in the latest USCHO.com poll released on Monday.

The Spartans remained No. 4 in the latest poll for Division I men’s hockey that was released on Monday. Michigan State has been No. 4 all season and that didn’t change this week.

Michigan State remains the highest-ranked Big Ten team. Behind the Spartans is Minnesota (No. 5), Michigan (No. 10), Notre Dame (No. 17), Ohio State (No. 19) and Wisconsin (No. 20).

Michigan State was essentially off this past weekend, with the Spartans playing an exhibition game on Friday against Windsor (Ont.). The Spartans picked up a 5-0 victory in that exhibition matchup.

Michigan State returns to the ice for another non-conference two-game series this weekend at Canisius. Both games are scheduled to start at 7 p.m. ET on Friday and Saturday.

Michigan State hockey picked up a solid series split last weekend, and thus, remained positioned in the top five of the updated USCHO poll.

The Spartans came in at No. 4 in the updated USCHO rankings that dropped on Monday. Michigan State picked up a series split against No. 2 Boston College this past weekend, losing on Friday before winning on Saturday.

Michigan State is again the highest-ranked Big Ten team in this week’s poll. Four other Big Ten teams were listed in this week’s rankings: Minnesota (No. 6), Michigan (No. 10), Wisconsin (No. 16) and Notre Dame (No. 18).

Michigan State is 3-1 overall on the year, and will host Windsor (Ont.) on Friday night as its lone game this week. Faceoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET from Munn Ice Arena.

Michigan State hockey remains in the top five nationally in the updated USCHO rankings.

The Spartans held the same spot as they did in the preseason, coming in at No. 4 in the updated rankings for this week. Four other Big Ten teams were included in this week’s poll: Minnesota at No. 4, Wisconsin at No. 9, Michigan at No. 10 and Notre Dame at No. 20.

Michigan State opened the season with a road two-game sweep of Lake Superior State this past weekend. The Spartans are 2-0-0 on the year following the opening series sweep.

Next up for the Spartans this week is a massive two-game series against No. 2 Boston College. Both games will be played at Michigan State, with the first game taking place on Friday and the second on Saturday. Both games will start at 6 p.m. ET.

Michigan State hockey continues to remain stationed in the top 10 of the weekly USCHO rankings.

The Spartans moved up one spot to No. 7 in the updated USCHO rankings released on Monday. Michigan State also received one first-place vote in this week’s rankings.

Other Big Ten teams included in this week’s poll are Wisconsin (No. 4), Minnesota (No. 10) and Michigan (No. 15).

The Spartans improved to 15-4-3 on the season after picking a road two-game sweep of Penn State this past weekend. Michigan State will now turn its focus to rival Michigan, with a two-game home-and-home weekend series on the docket for this week.
