Spartans among teams with best odds to win National Championship from Big Ten

MSU is considered one of the teams with the best odds to win the National Championship from the Big Ten

Michigan State basketball is considered one of the teams with the best odds to win the National Championship from the Big Ten.

Jeff Goodman of the Field of 68 posted the BetMGM odds for the top teams in college basketball to win the National Championship in 2025. To no surprise, Michigan State was near the top of the Big Ten teams.

Michigan State is currently listed at +5000 to win the National Championship. Only UCLA has better odds within the Big Ten at +4000. Purdue, Indiana and Rutgers are also listed at +5000  like the Spartans.

UConn and Kansas are at the top nationally, with both teams listed at +850 to win it all. Duke is right behind them at +900.

Michigan State football opens as an underdog vs. Iowa – see the spread and betting advice for this matchup

Michigan State football is once again listed as an underdog in a big-time Big Ten matchup.

The Spartans are coming off a bye this week, and will host Iowa in prime time matchup from East Lansing, Mich. Kickoff between the Spartans and Hawkeyes is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET. and the game will be televised on NBC.

Iowa comes into this matchup with some momentum following a blowout win over Washington last week. The Hawkeyes are 4-2 overall and 2-1 in Big Ten play this year.

Advice and Prediction

This game feels like it’ll be very low scoring with a big play swinging it one way or the other. Because of that, I like the Spartans’ chances to cover, but do still think Iowa comes away with the win in the end.

Prediction: Iowa 20-17

Michigan State Football opens week as 14.5-point underdogs to Michigan

MSU will be a notable underdog to Michigan in their match-up on the road this weekend.

This is not where we wanted to be at this point in the season. Michigan State continues its worst-case nightmare scenario football with a big matchup on the road against a Michigan team that is currently a huge favorite over the Spartans at 14.5-points. Not much of a surprise, Michigan State will be on the road against a seemingly much better team and will thus be big-time underdogs in this one.

I’m going into this one with an open mind and if Michigan State can pull it off it’ll make the season much more bearable for me but I’m not exactly getting my hopes up here.
