Michigan State Basketball 2021 Commit Pierre Brooks skyrocketed to a new ranking in the most recent Rivals150 rankings list.

2021 4-star Guard Pierre Brooks committed to Michigan State for in April after a virtual visit.  Originally, Rivals150 ranked Brooks as the No. 109 prospect in the country for the 2021 recruiting class. In the most recent Rivals150, Brooks skyrockets all the way to the No. 75 ranking.

Brooks is a 6-foot-6 guard and weighs 205 pounds. He currently plays for Frederick Douglass High School in Detroit, MI.

Brooks’ offense is so well balanced and impressive. He boasts plenty of dribble moves, he can get to the rim, and he can create his own shot. All the while, he makes smart passes and finds open teammates.

4-star 2020 Guard AJ Hoggard may still be around by the time Brooks arrives at the campus in East Lansing. Michigan State’s backcourt will have some solid depth for the next few years.

Michigan State basketball has held virtual visits with a number of sensational 2021 recruits including 5-star C Charles Bediako. Now, the Spartans are eyeing a fast-rising recruit in 2021 Small Forward James Graham III.

According to Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers, Graham has “garnered interest” from Michigan State basketball. Note, Stockrisers refers to Graham as a 4-star player.

Graham hails from Milwaukee, WI, where he plays for Nicolet High School. The 6’8″ and 205 pound Forward has received a flurry of offers just in the past week from Georgia and Cincinnati. He also has offers from Big Ten teams such as Maryland, Rutgers, and Iowa.

MSU has not yet officially made an offer and will likely set up a virtual visit first. The Spartans have already landed the commitment of the No. 1 player in Michigan, 4-star Guard Pierre Brooks. Graham would be an excellent addition to Brooks in the 2021 recruiting class.

Report: Michigan State hosting five-star shooting guard Max Christie on official visit this weekend

Christie is reportedly on an official visit at MSU this weekend

Michigan State basketball will be hosting a big-time prospect this weekend.

According to Stockrisers.com owner Jake Weingarten, five-star shooting guard Max Christie is in East Lansing this weekend for an official visit.

Christie, rated as the 13th-best prospect in 2021 in the 247 composite rankings, is a 6’6 shooting guard out of Rolling Meadows, IL. Christie won a gold medal with the USA Basketball U-16 team at the 2019 FIBA Americas Championship. He was also named to the All-Illinois team by USA Today and was on MaxPrep’s sophomore All-American third team last season.

Christie boasts scholarship offers from a number of top programs including Duke, Virginia, Michigan, Ohio State, Purdue, Villanova, and Illinois. Duke is considered the favorite to land the highly-touted prospect.

No. 16 Michigan State hosts No. 19 Ohio State for Senior Day at the Breslin Center this Sunday (4:30 PM, CBS).
