There was another ugly chapter written in the Michigan State vs. Michigan rivalry this weekend when a Michigan player was seen stomping what has now been confirmed to be a Michigan State player and staffer in what was a chaotic post game skirmish following MSU’s loss to the Wolverines.

While MSU athletic director Alan Haller said he has already contacted the Big Ten about the incident, Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore also took accountability for the actions of his team, which he called ‘unacceptable’. Moore also said that he will be addressing the situation internally and promises that it will ‘never happen again.’

Sherrone Moore opens by reiterating that the postgame skirmish with MSU was unacceptable. No comment on possible suspensions but says “we’ll address that internally.” Says it will “never happen again.”

Alan Haller said he has ‘made his feelings known’ to the Big Ten regarding the post game skirmish after the Michigan game

Another year, another Michigan State vs. Michigan game that was overshadowed by a post game skirmish. Following the game, Michigan players were seen in a chaotic video punching, stomping, and shoving MSU players and staffers. On Monday, Michigan State athletic director Alan Haller said that he has been in touch with the Big Ten about the incident and ‘made his feelings known.’
