The Green Bay Packers filled out the 16-player practice squad by signing center Michal Menet on Wednesday.
Menet, a three-year starter at Penn State, was a seventh-round pick of the Arizona Cardinals in 2021.
The Packers had two open spots on the practice squad as of Tuesday after promoting receiver Juwann Winfree to the 53-man roster and losing outside linebacker Nate Orchard to Washington. General manager Brian Gutekunst filled the spots with Menet and wide receiver Josh Malone, who signed Tuesday.
According to Pro Football Focus, Menet played almost 2,400 total snaps at center over his final three seasons at Penn State. He allowed eight sacks and 49 pressures.
Menet was with Arizona throughout training camp and had two stints on the Cardinals’ practice squad. He played 16 snaps during the preseason.
Menet joins rookies Jon Dietzen and Cole Van Lanen as the three offensive linemen on the Packers’ practice squad.
Menet will wear No. 65 for the Packers.
