UFC 281 video: Michael Trizano KOs Seungwoo Choi to finish off insane one-round war

Michael Trizano put away Seungwoo Choi to close out one of the craziest one-round fights you’ll ever see at UFC 281.

NEW YORK – [autotag]Michael Trizano[/autotag] put away [autotag]Seungwoo Choi[/autotag] to close out one of the craziest one-round fights you’ll ever see at UFC 281.

Trizano (10-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC) and Choi (10-6 MMA, 3-5 UFC) came out looking from the finish the moment the fight began. They landed simultaneous left hooks and knocked each other down in a wild scene, and the action just picked up more and more from there.

It was clear Trizano had the edge in power, though, and he managed to floor Choi one final time to force the referee to step in at the 4:51 mark of Round 1.

Check out the replay of the finish below (via Twitter):

Despite the spectacular win, Trizano won’t be rewarded with a fight-night bonus after he missed weight for the featherweight contest, which took place at Madison Square Garden.

It was the final fight on his contract, and he said he came out keen to make a statement.

“I was not going to be denied,” Trizano said in his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan.

It’s been a rough go for Michael Trizano since winning Season 27 of “The Ultimate Fighter.”

NEW YORK – [autotag]Michael Trizano[/autotag] spoke to reporters at media day ahead of UFC 281.

Trizano (9-3 MMA, 3-3 UFC), who won Season 27 of “The Ultimate Fighter,” entered the UFC undefeated and was successful in his promotional debut. However, the 30-year-old has lost three of his past four fights, including back-to-back to Hakeem Dawodu and Lucas Almeida.

Yeah, it’s the first time in my career I’ve lost back-to-back fights in anything, and yeah, it sucks. But I’m just gonna go in there and implement my game plan, and that’s what it comes down to. Whoever wants it more.”
