The Padres make their second trip to the playoffs since 2007 and will send out Yu Darvish to the mound to make the start in the first game. Meanwhile, the Mets were hoping they wouldn’t be playing in the Wild Card game but after losing three straight to the Braves they will need to. New York will send out Max Scherzer to the mound on Friday night.
