[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Memphis Grizzlies (25-50) square off against the Milwaukee Bucks (47-28) Wednesday with tip-off from Fiserv Forum set for 8 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Grizzlies vs. Bucks odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

Season series: Grizzlies lead 1-0

The Grizzlies took down the Detroit Pistons 110-108 as 2.5-point dogs Monday. C Jaren Jackson Jr. wouldn’t be denied with 40 points to lead all scorers. It was quite the far cry from the 10.7 PPG he averaged in the previous 3 games.

The Bucks were upset as 12.5-point favorites Tuesday by the Washington Wizards 117-113. F Giannis Antetokounmpo did all he could with 35 points, 15 boards and 10 assists — all game-highs. They’ve now lost 3 of 4 as some begin to ring the panic bell. The Bucks are 15-14 since Doc Rivers became coach, still 2nd in the East, 1½ games ahead of Cleveland and 12-games back of Boston, which already clinched the conference’s top seed for the playoffs.

Grizzlies at Bucks and predictions

Prediction

Bucks 111, Grizzlies 103

Moneyline

The Grizzlies stunned the Bucks 113-110 in Memphis Feb. 15 — Milwaukee was a 14-point favorite and the O/U (223) pushed. This was a game that featured Giannis (game-high 35 points) and Lillard (24 points), while the Grizz were without Morant and Bane. F GG Jackson and F Ziaire Williams — likely done for the season with a hip injury — scored 27 points each, leading 6 Grizzlies in double figures in the surprising victory.

Are you willing to risk -900 on the Bucks tonight?

Good decision. PASS.

Against the spread

While going 3-7 straight up over the last 10, the Grizzlies are 5-5 ATS. The Grizzlies are also 7-1 ATS in the last 8 against Milwaukee, including 4 covers in a row. The Bucks don’t have a ton to play for, and the Grizzlies are vibin’.

TAKE GRIZZLIES +12.5 (-115).

Over/Under

The Grizzlies are 7-3 O/U Over the last 10. During that stretch, the Over was 4-1 when the total was this high. Milwaukee is 6-3-1 O/U in its last 10.

We’re taking the OVER 217.5 (-115).

Memphis Grizzlies at Milwaukee Bucks odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Friday’s Memphis Grizzlies at New Orleans Pelicans odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Memphis Grizzlies (50-30) visit the Milwaukee Bucks (58-22) on Friday at Fiserv Forum. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET (NBA TV). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Grizzlies vs. Bucks odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

The Grizzlies failed to cover as 6.5-point road underdogs in Wednesday’s 138-131 overtime loss to the New Orleans Pelicans. A Memphis win, or Sacramento Kings loss, will lock the Grizzlies into the 2nd seed in the Western Conference.

The Bucks defeated the Chicago Bulls 105-92 Wednesday as 5-point home favorites. Milwaukee is locked into the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference, so starters will likely sit for the final 2 games of the season.

This will be the second meeting between the Grizzlies and the Bucks this season. Memphis won 142-101 as a 3-point favorite and the Over (226.5) connected in the first meeting on Dec. 15.

Grizzlies at Bucks picks and predictions

Prediction

Grizzlies 119, Bucks 110

Moneyline

AVOID.

The Bucks (+250) are going to be without all 5 of their starters, but it remains to be seen who gets run for the Grizzlies (-300) given they are unable to reach the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference.

Against the spread

GRIZZLIES -7.5 (-110) is the lean in this game under the assumption that G Ja Morant, G Desmond Bane, and F Jaren Jackson Jr. get their normal run. The Bucks won’t have 6 players that are in their usual rotation and the Grizzlies won by 41 points in the 1st meeting.

Memphis is 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings with Milwaukee dating back to 2020.

Over/Under

LEAN OVER 226.5 (-110).

Even with the uncertainty of who is going to play on Friday, I’ll take the Over. The Grizzlies have allowed 114 or more points in 6 of their last 10 games and the Bucks aren’t going to have their usual premier defenders on the floor.

The Over is 4-0-1 in the last 5 meetings between these teams in Milwaukee.

Memphis Grizzlies at Milwaukee Bucks odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Wednesday’s Memphis Grizzlies at Milwaukee Bucks odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Milwaukee Bucks (27-19) host the Memphis Grizzlies (31-15) Wednesday at the Fiserv Forum for an 8 p.m. ET tip-off. Below, we look at the Grizzlies vs. Bucks odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

Memphis has won 12 of its last 13 games, including most recently against the Chicago Bulls, 119-106 as an 8.5-point home favorite Monday. The Grizzlies are 30-16 against the spread (ATS) with a 22-23-1 Over/Under (O/U) record.

Milwaukee dropped its fourth game in the last five outings Monday by getting upset 121-114 by the Atlanta Hawks as a 5.5-point road favorite. The Bucks are 20-26 ATS and 19-27 O/U.

The Grizzlies have beaten the Bucks in two of their last three meetings and covered in all three.

In Memphis’ 128-115 victory over Milwaukee in April 2021, the Grizzlies’ top-four scorers were SG Grayson Allen and C Jonas Valanciunas (both no longer with the team) and SG Desmond Bane and SF Dillon Brooks (both are currently sidelined with injuries).

Grizzlies at Bucks odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Bucks 116, Grizzlies 107

Money line

PASS.

I like Milwaukee to handle business here, but the -270 price is far too expensive for an NBA regular-season money line favorite.

Against the spread

LEAN to the BUCKS -6.5 (-107).

The Grizzlies have turned into very popular public underdogs and I like fading public underdogs.

According to both Pregame.com and the Yahoo! Sports app, nearly 90% of the cash wagered has been on Memphis, but this line hasn’t budged.

This is called a line freeze. It’s a red flag whenever the sportsbooks don’t move a line according to the betting splits. It’s almost like the oddsmakers want more pro-Grizzlies action.

Memphis is without two backcourt starters, which is an area Milwaukee is deep at. Plus, the Bucks could be getting Holiday back for this contest.

The Grizzlies’ four leading scorers from their last game with the Bucks won’t be on the floor Wednesday. In fact, Memphis’ leading scorer from that game, Allen, joined the Bucks this past offseason and is in their starting 5.

Lastly, Milwaukee is one of the few teams that not only match Memphis in physicality and size but exceeds it.

LEAN to the BUCKS -6.5 (-107) only because the Under is my favorite wager in this game.

Over/Under

BET the UNDER 228.5 (-107) because the Over is getting flooded with money and the Grizzlies are without several shot creators.

More than 60% of the money is on the Over (per Pregame.com and the Yahoo! Sports app), which has steamed it up from the 226-point opener.

Typically, I like to fade such lopsided betting markets, especially in this case since I’m assuming the market is betting based on the star power between both teams.

But the Under has cashed in five of Milwaukee’s last six games and the Grizzlies will need superstar PG Ja Morant to carry them past a Bucks team that’s has a ton of defensive backcourt players.

Not only is Holiday one of the best perimeter defenders in the NBA but guards George HillWesley Matthews and Donte DiVincenzo also get after it defensively. They’ll all be focused on Morant since Memphis will be without Brooks, Bane and Anderson.

UNDER 228.5 (-107) is my favorite wager in this contest.

Memphis Grizzlies at Milwaukee Bucks odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Saturday’s Memphis Grizzlies at Milwaukee Bucks NBA odds and lines, with basketball picks, tips and predictions.

The Milwaukee Bucks (35-20) host the Memphis Grizzlies (28-26) Saturday for a 9 p.m. ET game at Fiserv Forum. Below, we analyze the Grizzlies-Bucks odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.

Memphis has won just two of its past five games (3-2 against the spread) and is 4 games in front of the 11th-place New Orleans Pelicans in the West (the 7th- through 10th-place teams qualify for the postseason play-in tournament).

Both of Memphis’s recent wins were against the Chicago Bulls. Sandwiched between was a 114-113 heartbreaking loss to the Dallas Mavericks thanks to a Luka Doncic buzzer-beating 3-pointer.

Milwaukee has won three straight, all on the road and by double digits, which followed a three-game losing skid.

Reigning two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo made his return to action in Milwaukee’s 120-109 win over the Atlanta Hawks Thursday after missing the previous six games with an injury.

Grizzlies at Bucks: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Bucks 120, Grizzlies 109

Money line (ML)

PASS because I only “lean” Milwaukee covering and there’s no way I’d lay it with Bucks (-350), or any NBA regular-season money line favorite for that matter, given the random outcomes we’ve seen this season.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Against the spread (ATS)

Memphis second-year PG Ja Morant was sensational in the first Grizzlies-Bucks game this season (35 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists).

Milwaukee All-NBA-caliber defense PG Jrue Holiday came off the bench that game because he was easing back into game action after missing time with COVID.

In their prior three meetings dating back to when Holiday was playing for the New Orleans Pelicans last season, Morant didn’t score more than 16 points and is shooting just 38.9% from the field (21.4% from 3) in four head-to-head games.

With Holiday back to 100% and the possible absences of several Memphis contributors, I “LEAN” BUCKS -8 (-110) for a half unit.

Over/Under (O/U)

Slight “LEAN” to the UNDER 237.5 (-110) for a half unit because Milwaukee plays good defense against what Memphis specializes in.

For instance, the Grizzlies score the most paint points per game and second-most fast-break points per game while the Bucks allow the fewest fast-break points per game and the third-fewest paint points per game.
