Prediction
Thunder 115, Mavericks 112
Moneyline (ML)
The Thunder come in having won five in a row, improving their record to 28-19 on the year. The Mavericks just lost 112-107 to the Utah Jazz Saturday and are 1-2 in their last three games. Despite that, the Thunder are home underdogs.
OKC is 15-9 at home this season and 15-5 in its last 20 home games against the Mavericks.
Bet the THUNDER (+100) to win outright, especially with it being even money.
New to sports betting? A $10 wager on the Thunder to win returns a profit of $10.
Line/Against the Spread (ATS)
The Thunder are 2.5-point home underdogs to the Mavericks, which is a bit of a shocker. They’re the hotter team and their size in the frontcourt could give the Mavericks trouble – even with newcomer Willie Cauley-Stein likely to play.
Oklahoma City has been one of the best teams against the spread this season, going 32-15 – including 5-0 ATS in its last five games. OKC has been very good against the West this year, too, going 7-1 ATS in its last eight such games.
Take the points with the THUNDER (+2.5, -125).
Over/Under (O/U)
The Over/Under is set at 224.5 Monday night but there’s a good chance the total goes over that number. The Over is 5-0 in the Thunder’s last five home games and 7-2 overall in their last nine.
Strangely enough, the Over is 6-0 in the Mavericks’ last six Monday games, too. C Steven Adams and the Thunder’s big men should have a strong performance.
Bet the OVER 224.5 (-125) in this matchup.
