Matthew Boling, the talented Georgia track sophomore, is capping off a record setting 2021 season. Boling has broken former Georgia Bulldog legend Champ Bailey’s long jump record.
Boling continues to dominate indoor track and will look to break more records in the spring outdoor season after COVID-19 cut last year short. Boling will participate in more events today, but it is looking like Arkansas will repeat as Men’s SEC Indoor Track champions.
The Georgia Women’s Track & Field team has a chance to win the SEC Indoor Track championship though.
🚨🚨 Move over @NFL Pro Football Hall of Famer Champ Bailey, the #Dawgs have a a NEW SCHOOL RECORD HOLDER 🚨🚨

Despite setting a University of Georgia record, Boling finished fourth in the long jump event. LSU’s JuVaughn Harrison set a meet record with a 27-foot-4 long jump. The silver lining for Boling is that he outperformed everybody who is a sophomore or younger.
