An elite wide receiver in the 2026 class will be visiting Michigan State this upcoming weekend.

Mason James of Norman, Okla. will reportedly be visiting Michigan State on Saturday, according to Marshall Levenson of Rivals. James is a four-star wide receiver in the 2026 class.

James ranks as the No. 27 wide receiver and No. 171 overall prospect in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2026 class. He’s also listed as the No. 3 player from Oklahoma in the class.

James holds offers from more than 20 programs, including Michigan State. Other notable programs to offer James includes Alabama, Arkansas, Miami (FL), Michigan, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee and Texas A&M.

The 6-foot, 165-pound wide receiver prospect is from Norman North High School in Norman, Oklahoma. James also plays cornerback.

There are not recruiting rankings currently for James from Rivals, 247Sports, On3 or ESPN.

The Vols are the second Southeastern Conference school to offer James. Oklahoma offered a scholarship to James on Dec. 11, 2023.

James has scholarship offers from Tennessee, Arizona State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Kansas, Arkansas and Kansas State.
