Here’s every ESPN NBA announcer for the 2024-25 season

ESPN’s NBA crew features some familiar names.

ESPN is broadcasting NBA games for a 23rd consecutive year this season, and the announcers set to rotate between games will be familiar to many fans, with the team of Mike Breen, Doris Burke and Cassidy Hubbarth getting joined by Richard Jefferson (at least to start the season). JJ Redick is off the top team given that he’s coaching the Lakers now.

Although we wish we could list the announcers for every game, that’s impossible, especially when there’s some mixing and matching throughout the season.

That said, here’s a look at ESPN’s entire lineup of broadcasters, including play-by-play announcers, analysts and sideline reporters.

ESPN’s Mark Jones unexpectedly quoted rapper BossMan Dlow on his Travis Hunter touchdown call

Well, this was unexpected.

Colorado football returned for its second season with Deion Sanders at the helm, and the team had no trouble finding some offensive fireworks against North Dakota State on Thursday night.

Quarterback Shedeur Sanders found wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter for a stellar touchdown, which ignited the excitement for the Buffaloes and even got NBA superstar LeBron James fired up.

ESPN broadcaster Mark Jones decided to pull out a wild reference for his call of the touchdown, quoting rapper BossMan Dlow on his song with Lil Baby called “PJ.”

“In the words of BossMan Dlow on the sidelines, Colorado… pockets full of cheese and fresher than Febreze right now,” Jones quipped on the ESPN broadcast after the Colorado touchdown.

If you are over the age of 25 and have absolutely no idea what he’s talking about, don’t worry. We had to Google who BossMan Dlow was as we wrote this article, as we are old and time waits for no writer.

This was quite a play for Colorado against North Dakota State, and this was quite a revelatory moment for us. We’ll fire up BossMan Dlow on Spotify and let you know what we think.. and absolutely refuse to acknowledge how old this makes us feel.

No. 4 Oregon Ducks vs Washington Huskies: How to watch, listen, stream rivalry game

How to watch, stream, listen: Former Heisman winner and now analyst Robert Griffin III will be on the call for the Oregon vs. Washington broadcast.

For the second time this season, the ABC primetime college football game will feature the Oregon Ducks. Perhaps ABC knew something when they scheduled this game because Oregon was announced as the No. 4 team in the first College Football Playoff rankings, and is largely the talk to the nation with many people disagreeing with the spot.

The Ducks take on rival Washington for their second straight trip to Seattle as the Huskies were unable to make the trip to Eugene in 2020.

As for the broadcast, a new ABC crew will cover the game up on Montlake as longtime broadcaster Mark Jones is joined by former Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III in his first year as an analyst. Quint Kessenich will be on the sidelines.

The kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. PT.
