The Orlando Magic (16-27) and Denver Nuggets (29-13) meet Sunday at Ball Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Magic vs. Nuggets odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

The Magic covered the spread as 5-point underdogs Friday in a 112-108 loss vs. the Utah Jazz. The Magic are 6-1 against the spread (ATS) in their last 7 road games vs. teams with a winning record at home.

The Nuggets covered as 5-point favorites Friday with a 115-103 win at the Los Angeles Clippers. G Jamal Murray scored 24 points in the absence of C Nikola Jokic (wrist) who is expected to play Sunday. The Nuggets are 1-3-2 ATS vs. Orlando in the last 6 meetings.

Magic at Nuggets picks and predictions

Prediction

Nuggets 123, Magic 117

Moneyline

PASS.

The Nuggets (-475) should win, but the price on their moneyline is a little high considering how well the Magic have played on this current road trip. Bet the spread or total instead.

Against the spread

BET MAGIC +10.5 (-112).

Orlando is 3-1 ATS in its last 4 road games and 11-6-1 ATS vs. Western Conference teams this season. Orlando is 3-0 ATS vs. Denver in the last 3 meetings and should have no problem covering such a high number Sunday. Take the points.

Over/Under

BET OVER 233.5 (-115).

The Over is 6-1 in Orlando’s last 7 games after covering in its previous contest and 5-1 in the last 6 meetings between these 2 teams in Denver. The Nuggets and Magic are 22nd and 23rd, respectively, in defensive efficiency this season and Sunday’s matchup should be another high-scoring affair.

Orlando Magic at Denver Nuggets odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Monday’s Orlando Magic at Denver Nuggets odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Orlando Magic (13-45) visit Pepsi Center Monday to take on the Denver Nuggets (31-25). Tip-off is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Magic vs. Nuggets odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

The Nuggets return home after a 110-109 win over the Raptors Saturday in Toronto as 5.5-point underdogs.

Denver has covered 4 straight and is 7-2-1 against the spread (ATS) over their last 10 games. Led by C Nikola Jokic, the Nuggets are 25-30-1 ATS overall but just 11-14 ATS as the home team.

As for Orlando, it has covered just 4 of its last 10. The Magic are playing their fourth straight road game. They failed to cover most recently against the Suns in a 132-105 loss as 16.5-point underdogs.

This will be Orlando’s 3rd game in 4 days. The Magic are 25-33 ATS, including 18-15 ATS on the road.

Magic at Nuggets odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Nuggets 120, Magic 106

Money line

PASS.

The Magic have the second-worst record in the NBA, but even in a matchup like this, betting the Nuggets at -850 has no value and shouldn’t be considered.

Against the spread

BET NUGGETS -11.5 (-107). They are simply playing better basketball right now.

The Magic should be exhausted on the last leg of a 4-game road trip. The Nuggets shoot the 3rd-best percentage from the field, whereas the Magic rank 18th in opponents’ shooting.

Orlando’s real struggles come offensively, where it averages the 28th-most points per game and ranks within the bottom five teams in turnover rate and true-shooting rate, which factors in 3-point shooting.

The Magic are just 7-13 ATS in non-conference games as well. Their struggles offensively, on the road and against the Western Conference make the Nuggets the better way to play this game.

Over/Under

LEAN to the OVER 224.5 (-112).

The Nuggets are 29-26-1 O/U, while the Magic are 30-27-1.

Considering Orlando’s struggles to score, I wouldn’t wager a full unit, but their defense has been atrocious lately, allowing 114 points or more points in 6 of their last 7.

Orlando has missed 100 in 3 of its last 4 though, failing to top the Over in each. Each of Denver’s last 10 opponents have hit triple digits, and the Nuggets allow 107.6 points per game.

Denver is 14-10-1 O/U at home.

Orlando Magic at Denver Nuggets odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Sunday’s Orlando Magic at Denver Nuggets NBA odds and lines, with basketball picks, tips and predictions.

The Orlando Magic (17-32) continue their road trip Sunday night against the Denver Nuggets (30-18). Their game is scheduled to tip off Sunday night at 10:10 p.m. ET in Ball Arena. Below, we analyze the Magic-Nuggets odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.

Orlando wraps up its five-game road trip in Denver a night after getting absolutely demolished by the Utah Jazz 137-91. The Magic are 2-2 on the road trip so far and will face F Aaron Gordon, whom they traded to the Nuggets last week before the deadline.

The Nuggets are riding a four-game winning streak, and Sunday’s game against the Magic is the first of a five-game homestand. They are 13-3 in their last 16 games, and the addition of Gordon has changed them defensively. With him in the lineup, they have allowed only 97 points per game. Denver is in fifth place in the West but is one game out of the third seed.

Magic at Nuggets: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Nuggets 115, Magic 102

Money line (ML)

The Nuggets are playing great basketball, have won four straight. The Magic have lost 14 of 17 games. However, the money line is ridiculous. Move to the spread and total.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Against the spread (ATS)

Orlando is surprisingly good against the spread this year. They are 25-23-1 ATS. Denver is an even 24-24 ATS. However, they have covered the spread in their last four games and in five of six. The Magic have covered the spread in five of their last six as well. However, they are short-handed. That was evident Saturday night. Utah is like Denver in terms of talent. That said, they are also 6-3 ATS when playing with no rest. The Nuggets win the game but won’t cover the 16.5 points. Take the MAGIC +16.5 (-110).

Over/Under (O/U)

Denver is 28-20 O/U, but five of their last seven games have gone Under the total. Orlando is 23-25-1 O/U and an even 4-4 O/U in their last eight. This total isn’t that high so take OVER 213.5 POINTS (-115).
