Madden 24 player ratings for former Georgia football CBs, TEs

Here are Madden 24 ratings for former Georgia CBs, TEs…

EA Sports’ Madden 2024 is releasing player ratings ahead of the game’s roll-out scheduled for Aug. 18.

We previously shared skill ratings for former Georgia Bulldog safeties, wide receivers, running backs and offensive lineman. Below we cover former cornerbacks and tight ends.

Former Georgia cornerbacks Tyson Campbell, Erick Stokes, Kelee Ringo and Derion Kendrick, along with tight ends Darnell Washington, Lawrence Cager, Charlie Woerner, Tre McKitty, John Fitzpatrick and Nick Moore are covered below.

Here are their ratings:

Justin Herbert checks in as highest-rated Oregon Duck in Madden 24 ratings

Not only is Herbert the highest-rated Duck in the game, but he is the sixth highest-rated QB in ‘Madden 24.’

The weeklong release of the EA Sports Madden 24 ratings has ended: Quarterbacks, linebackers, fullbacks and special teams players were announced on Friday morning.

Wide receivers and safeties came out on Monday, followed by defensive linemen and edge rushers on Tuesday. Wednesday brought offensive linemen and running backs, and on Thursday we obtained the ratings for cornerbacks and tight ends.

The one thing every Oregon Duck fan wanted to know, though, was how highly rated quarterback Justin Herbert was in the newest edition of the game. His numbers were released, along with four other Ducks: two QBs and two LBs.

Player Name Team Name Rating
Justin Herbert Los Angeles Chargers 87
Marcus Mariota Philadelphia Eagles 69
Troy Dye Minnesota Vikings 67
Noah Sewell Chicago Bears 66
Anthony Brown Baltimore Ravens 57

Unsurprisingly, Herbert is the highest-rated Duck in the game, edging DeForest Buckner, who has a rating of 86. Herbert is also the sixth highest-rated QB in the game, trailing Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson and Jalen Hurts.

With a new offensive coordinator, Kellen Moore, this season, there is a chance we see a real breakout for Herbert in 2023 while conducting a more high-powered offense that utilizes his arm talent more than we’ve seen in the past. Should that happen, it will be interesting to see what his numbers look like a year from now.

Here are the ‘Madden 24’ ratings for 49ers cornerbacks

Madden 24 ratings for the #49ers CBs.

One of the surest signs that football season is right around the corner is the slow release of player ratings for “Madden NFL 24.”  Cornerbacks were among the players who received their stats for the game Thursday.

There are always some in-season ratings adjustments by EA Sports, but the 49ers’ CB room may see some significant ratings adjustments once the season starts. They have a slew of players who may wind up dramatically outperforming their preseason projection, which could make their ratings climb in this year’s and future iterations of the game.

Let’s look at the overall ratings for the 49ers’ CBs;

Penei Sewell leads deep group of former Oregon OL in latest Madden 24 ratings release

There are a lot of Pro Duck offensive linemen in the NFL. None come close to Penei Sewell in terms of Madden 24 ratings.

As the week goes on, more and more EA Sports Madden 24 ratings are released for NFL players. We have been tracking the numbers for professional Oregon Ducks in the league. Wide receivers and safeties were released on Monday, followed by defensive linemen on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, we had the big boys up front and the guys running behind them. The Ducks are very well represented when it comes to offensive linemen in the league, led by Detroit’s Penei Sewell, who was among the biggest fan favorites at Oregon after winning the Outland Trophy while in Eugene.

The ratings for nine former Ducks were released on Wednesday: eight linemen and one running back. Here are the Oregon numbers that were released on Tuesday:

Player Name Team Name Rating
Penei Sewell Detroit Lions 86
Calvin Throckmorton New Orleans Saints 65
Shane Lemieux New York Giants 65
Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu Baltimore Ravens 65
Alex Forsyth Denver Broncos 63
T.J. Bass Dallas Cowboys 62
Hroniss Grasu Las Vegas Raiders 62
Travis Dye New York Jets 62
Jake Hanson Green Bay Packers 58

As a former top-10 pick in the NFL draft, it is no surprise Sewell continues to see his Madden rating improve as his career continues. In a matter of years, he could easily find himself viewed as one of the top offensive linemen in the game.

As the week goes on, we will continue to update as player ratings are released for pro Ducks.
