Stanford, Lynn, Emory women’s golf headline final regular season Mizuno WGCA coaches polls

This is the fourth and final coaches poll for the 2023 spring campaign.

The final regular season Mizuno WGCA coaches polls for women’s golf have been released and there’s no surprise Stanford is the top team in Div. I.

The Cardinal received nine first-place votes but so did Wake Forest, which checks in at No. 2. Stanford’s has just a one-point lead in overall points, 441 to 440. LSU is No. 3, South Carolina is No. 4 and Mississippi State checks in at No. 5.

This is the fourth and final coaches poll for the 2023 spring campaign by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association.

Lynn women’s golf ranked No. 1 in Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll for Division II

Lynn continues to hold the No. 1 spot in Division II with 10 first-place votes

The Women’s Golf Coaches Association has announced the results of the most recent Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll. This is the second poll of the 2022 spring season.

Lynn continues to hold the No. 1 spot in Division II with 10 first-place votes, followed by Dallas Baptist at No. 2 with the remaining six votes. Nova Southeastern moves up one spot to No. 3, while Limestone and Barry come in at No. 4 and No. 5, respectively.

Earlier, this week in Miami Lakes, Florida, Adriana Iribarren carded the first hole-in-one of the season for Lynn, who ended up fourth in the Barry Invitational.

The Fighting Knights will host the Lynn Invitational April 4-5, which marks final regular-season event of the year.

About the Women’s Golf Coaches Association

The Women’s Golf Coaches Association, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women’s collegiate golf coaches. Lynn wins another tournament, remains No. 1 in Mizuno WGCA Division II Coaches Poll

Lynn is once again the top-ranked team in the Div. II coaches poll.

The Women’s Golf Coaches Association has released its first Mizuno WGCA Div. II Coaches Poll for the 2022 spring season.

Lynn picks up where it left off in the fall, as the No. 1-team in the women’s golf rankings. Dallas Baptist is No. 2, Limestone, which received one first-place vote, is No. 3. Nova Southeastern is No. 4 with Anderson and Barry are tied in the No. 5 spot in the poll.

Lynn won its fourth tournament of the 2021-22 season earlier this week at Grasslands Golf and Country Club in Lakeland, Florida, at the Lady Moc. Lynn finished 5 over to win by eight shots. Alice Gatti finished tied for second behind Saint Leo’s Francesca Santoni. Lynn had four players in all finish in the top-10.

The WGCA has released its third women’s coaches poll of the season, and Lynn is the newest No. 1-ranked team in the Division II poll.

The Knights received 12 first-place votes, while Limestone University received one first-place vote to move up four spots to No. 2. Dallas Baptist, the defending Division II national champions, comes in at No. 3 with two first-place votes, followed by Barry University and University of Findlay at No. 4 and No. 5, respectively.
