Draymond Green reacts to Luka Doncic’s game-winner vs. Timberwolves in Game 2

Draymond Green chimed in on Instagram after Luka Doncic’s clutch game-winner against the Timberwolves in Game 2 of the Western Conference finals.

After a fiery fourth-quarter appearance in Game 1 sealed the Dallas Mavericks’ win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, Luka Doncic doubled down with another thrilling performance in Game 2.

After trailing by 18 in the second quarter, Doncic fueled the Mavs’ comeback in the second half. Doncic notched 32 points on 10-of-23 shooting from the field with five made 3-pointers. Doncic finished with a triple-double with 13 assists and 10 boards in Game 2.

Doncic wrapped up his performance with a game-winning shot over the Defensive Player of the Year. As the clock ticked down, Doncic danced around Rudy Gobert before shaking free for a deep 3-pointer over the big Frenchman. Following his go-ahead 3 with three seconds remaining, Doncic barked at Gobert down the floor as the Target Center went quiet.

Following Doncic’s shot to give the Mavs a commanding 2-0 lead over the Timberwolves, Draymond Green chimed in on Instagram with a reaction. Green called out the look on Jaden McDaniels’ face before Doncic pulled up for his 3-pointer over Gobert.

Injury Report: D’Angelo Russell out vs. Clippers, set to return soon

D’Angelo Russell isn’t ready to play against the Los Angeles Clippers, but his return from a shoulder injury is inching closer with a potential return date set.

Two crucial things have been missing at the start of 2020 for the Golden State Warriors — victories and D’Angelo Russell. A loss to Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks registered Golden State’s sixth straight loss after previously setting their season-high win streak of four consecutive wins.

Russell’s injury against the Dallas Mavericks marked the start of the Warriors’ losing streak, and Golden State has struggled since. Russell collided with the Mavericks’ Slovenian star, Luka Doncic, in the third quarter of the game. However, Russell quickly returned to the bench after spending time down on the Chase Center floor. Russell re-entered the game to finish off a 35-point effort.

Since the collision, Russell’s dealt with a lingering shoulder injury that has taken him out of every game since the start of the new year. Russell’s been able to return to practice with the Warriors. Still, the team is being cautious with their 23-year-old All-Star, holding him out against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Russell missed nine-straight games early in the season with a hand injury, now six with a shoulder ailment, but he could be on his way back to Golden State’s starting lineup soon. The Louisville, Kentucky native could be set to return when the Warriors travel into the south over the weekend.

Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle reported Russell would return to action when the Warriors travel to Memphis on Sunday.

Prior to missing the past six games, Russell was playing at an All-Star level during the Warriors win-streak. Russell scored 30 or more points in three of his last four games. Without their 23-year-old All-Star guard, Alec Burks and Glenn Robinson III have stepped up for Golden State, leading the team in scoring in each night without Russell.

Steve Kerr and the Warriors will need to lean on Robinson and Burks again when they arrive at the Staples Center. Against Paul George, Kawhi Leonard and the rest of the 26-12 Clippers, Golden State will need all the help they can get to end their losing streak.

How to Watch UEFA Champions League, Real Madrid vs. Paris Saint-Germain Live Stream, Schedule, US TV Channel

Watch Real Madrid vs. Paris Saint-Germain Live Online.

The Champions League group stage resumes on Tuesday with the top two teams in Group A facing off in a much-anticipated rematch. Early in the season, PSG embarrassed struggling Real Madrid, 3-0, at the Parc des Princes. Zinedine Zidane’s side has improved since then and will be hoping to exact some revenge at the Bernabeu in the penultimate matchday of the group stage.

Real Madrid vs. PSG

Date: Tues. November 26

Time: 3:00 PM ET

TV Channel: TNT

Live Stream: fuboTV (watch for free)

Real Madrid’s form has become much better since that rough night in Paris. It’s currently level with Barcelona on 28 points atop the La Liga table. In Real’s most recent match, it scored an impressive 3-1 win over Real Sociedad with Karim Benzema, Federico Valverde and Luka Modric all finding the back of the net.

However, It’s not all smooth sailing for Los Blancos. Gareth Bale has once again caused a ruckus after being seen with a derogatory banner that showed his displeasure with the club. The already irritated fans of the club have been agitated even further following this latest incident. If Bale had any lasting support at the club, it’s gone now.

Just 14 matches into the new Ligue 1 season and PSG has already effectively ended the title race. It’s opened up a nine point lead over second-place with no real competitor for the title emerging.

As usual, the team’s primary focus will shift to the Champions League and getting over the hump in Europe’s biggest club competition. A new Neymar drama won’t help matters, though. The Brazilian superstar caused a scene this past weekend when he stormed to the dressing room instead of heading to the team’s bench after being subbed off. For as many problems as Neymar causes, there’s no doubt he can be the difference between PSG conquering Europe or crashing out.
