The winner of the 2023 PFL Europe series, Ditcheva (11-0) proved she was more than ready for the step up given into the 2024 PFL regular season. Thursday at 2024 PFL 1, Ditcheva dismantled opponent [autotag]Lisa Mauldin[/autotag] (6-4) for a TKO stoppage at 3:54 of Round 1.

Mauldin did her best to survive multiple flurries from Ditcheva, but a body shot eventually marked the beginning of the end. Mauldin covered up as Ditcheva swarmed and referee Jacob Montalvo stepped in.

The win earns Ditcheva six points in the women’s flyweight standings.

Ditcheva, 25, punched her ticket into the PFL regular season with three wins in the PFL Europe tournament. In 11 professional appearances, Ditcheva has 10 finishes, including nine knockouts.

Mauldin, 33, was undefeated under the PFL banner with wins over Helen Peralta and Desiree Yanez.

2023 PFL Playoffs 1 results: Jesus Pinedo dominates Bubba Jenkins to reach featherweight final

2023 PFL Playoffs 1 took place Friday and MMA Junkie provided live and official results throughout the entire card.

The event featured featherweight and light heavyweight semifinal bouts at Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio. The main card aired live on ESPN at 9 p.m. ET following prelims on ESPN+ beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET.

In the main event, [autotag]Bubba Jenkins[/autotag] (21-7) took on [autotag]Jesus Pinedo[/autotag] (22-6-1) in a featherweight semifinal bout. Pinedo entered the contest with a one-point deduction due to missing weight Thursday morning. Jenkins won both of his regular season bouts by picking up a unanimous decision over Chris Wade and a submission against Sung Bin Jo. Pinedo went 50/50 in his regular season outings, starting off with a split decision loss to Gabriel Alves Braga, but rebounding nicely with a first-round finish over 2022 champion Brendan Loughnane.

In the co-feature, [autotag]Josh Silveira[/autotag] (12-1) faced [autotag]Ty Flores[/autotag] (13-5) in a light heavyweight semifinal.  Silveira’s regular season run did not see a second round, as he submitted Sam Kei and picked up a TKO win against Delan Monte due to injury in the opening frame. Flores picked up unanimous decision wins over Monte and Dan Spohn in his regular season fights.

2023 PFL Challenger Series 5 results: Desiree Yanez earns PFL contract with unanimous decision win

Flyweight competitor Desiree Yanez is heading to the PFL regular season after her unanimous decision victory over Maira Mazar.

The PFL’s Challenger Series returned for the fifth week of 2023, with athletes gunning for a PFL contract that could either serve as a developmental deal or earn them a spot directing into the regular season to compete for its $1 million prize.

2023 PFL Challenger Series 5 took place Friday at Universal Studios in Orlando, Fla., and aired live on fubo Sports Network. The event featured four women’s flyweight bouts.

In the first fight of the night, [autotag]Lisa Mauldin[/autotag] recorded the first TKO finish of her career by stopping Helen Peralta in the third round. [autotag]Desiree Yanez[/autotag] and [autotag]Shanna Young[/autotag] picked up solid unanimous decision wins over their opponents.

In the final bout of the evening, [autotag]Kaytlin Neil[/autotag] swept the scorecards against Katherine Corogenes, earning unanimous scores of 29-27.

The four winners were narrowed down to Mauldin and Yanez before going to the votes by fans and a celebrity panel to determine who would walk away with a PFL contract.

The celebrity panel this week consisted of UFC veterans Paige VanZant, Megan Anderson, and NFL quarterback Sam Darnold. The panel, along with the fans, chose Yanez as the women’s flyweight contract winner.
