Things are heating up after Texas A&M’s 38-23 win over LSU to remain the only SEC team unbeaten in conference play.  The Aggies have all the momentum right now and must remain focused to finish out the season strong.

LSU looked every bit like a top-ten team through about two and a half quarters, until quarterback Garrett Nussmeier was intercepted by Aggies’ CB BJ Mayes. That was followed byHead coach Mike Elko inserting QB Marcel Reed into the game who promptly scored a rushing touchdown to cut the lead to a one-score game. A&M showed a lot of grit on determination erasing a 10-point deficit and limiting LSU to only six points in the second half.

Anything can happen over the next few weeks but the schedule falls in A&M’s favor to play in an SEC title. It’s very conceivable that A&M will be 7-0 headed into the final regular season game against the Texas Longhorns. There will be plenty of time to speak on that game when the time comes. So, for now, we can enjoy some of the best photos from Texas A&M’s victory over the Tigers.

Here are the best photos from Texas A&M’s road win over Mississippi State

Texas A&M’s 34-24 win over Mississippi State had fans battling various emotions. It feels like this should have been a win by a larger margin than ten, and the Aggies didn’t look like a team that would make any noise in the college football playoffs.

However, this was another one of those checklist wins. In past years, this was one of those games A&M would lose, ultimately leading to an 8-win season. Even though the team did not play up to head coach Mike Elko’s standard, the Aggies still found a way to win and get some big stops when needed.

They have some things to clean up with LSU coming to Bryan College Station on Saturday. The offense has to find a way to be more consistent in the passing game, but for now, we will take some time to view the best photos from the Aggies’ 34-24 road victory over the Bulldogs.

How much did Texas A&M rise in the US LBM Coaches Poll after Week 6?

Texas A&M received a much-deserved bump after destroying Missouri

Texas A&M (5-1, 3-0 SEC) looks like one of the best teams in the conference after demolishing Missouri (4-1, 1-1 SEC) 41-10 on Saturday afternoon.

Behind the return of quarterback Conner Weigman, who had missed the last three games due to a shoulder injury, was lights out as soon as the first snap. Behind 236 yards and five touchdowns on the ground, Weigman completed an efficient 18/22 for 276 yards.

Defensively, the Aggies limited the Tigers to just 186 passing yards and a pedestrian 68 yards rushing, as Missouri quarterback Brady Cook had zero answers for what Texas A&M DC Jay Bateman threw his way.

Sitting atop the SEC with a 3-0 conference record, the chaos that followed A&M’s win included No. 1-ranked Alabama falling to Vanderbilt on the road, while Tennessee fell to Arkansas just hours after.

Entering the bye week, Texas A&M looks like a playoff contender again, shooting up the newest US LBM Coaches Poll rankings.

Photos from the 26-20 Texas A&M Aggies win over the Bowling Green Falcons

View some of the best photos from the Texas A&M victory over the Bowling Green Falcons in Bryan-College Station

Texas A&M was in a nail-biter for most of the night as the Aggies could not pull away from Bowling Green at any time during the game.

Usually, after a big road win against a conference opponent, there is a tendency to come into the following week with less urgency when the game is a non-conference matchup. I don’t think that’s what happened here, as it looked like it had more to do with a well-coached team in Bowling Green that had a great game plan for a team still trying to establish their identity.

Even with that being said Coach Elko will have plenty of game film to work with as they iron out all the kinks before heading to Arlington to take on Arkansas in Jerry’s world next weekend.

Below you can see some of the best images from the win on Saturday.
