Depending on your perspective this might be good or bad news for former Michigan State Football running back Le’Veon Bell, but on Tuesday, he was released by the New York Jets.
Bell was placed on injured reserve back on Sep. 15th after going down with a hamstring injury. There seemed to be some growing animosity between Bell and the pitiful Jets, who have yet to win a game this season.
Bell only notched 789 yards last season with four touchdowns in his first season in New York before only playing in 2 games in 2020. This was definitely a far cry from the success he had in Pittsburgh, where he accumulated around 7,500 total yards from 2013-2017.
