2025 4-star TE Ryan Ghea commits to Auburn

Auburn has landed a recruit on three straight days.

For the third time this week, [autotag]Hugh Freeze[/autotag] and Auburn football have landed a key recruit. This time it was 2025 four-star tight end [autotag]Ryan Ghea[/autotag], who announced his commitment Sunday afternoon on social media.

Originally planning to commit in February, Ghea has visited Auburn six times this season, including his most recent trip on Nov. 7 and decided to go ahead and announce his pledge earlier than planned.

He is Auburn’s third commit in the past three days. [autotag]Laquan Robinson[/autotag], the No. 1 JUCO safety, committed on Friday and four-star edge [autotag]Jamonta Waller[/autotag] flipped from Florida on Saturday after Auburn’s dominant win over Arkansas.

Ghea is from Alpharetta, Georgia and is Auburn’s sixth commit in the 2025 cycle, giving the Tigers the No. 5 class in the 247Sports team recruiting rankings.

He quickly became one of [autotag]Ben Aigamaua[/autotag]’s top targets in the cycle and the Tigers did not shy away from letting him know that.

“It means a lot to me. It means once again that I am a priority to them and they think that I can be a part of their program and make an impact,” Ghea told Auburn Undercover’s Christian Clemente. “I think he’s (Freeze) a great coach, great guy, great family man and he’s turning this program back to where it should be.”

He is the No. 308 overall player and No. 15 tight end in the 247Sports composite ranking. He is also the No. 35 player from Georgia.

Originally from Greenville, Alabama, he now plays for Holmes Community College and has emerged as the top JUCO safety and is being pursued by several other SEC programs, most notably Ole Miss, Texas A&M and Florida.

One of the nation’s top junior college prospects is considering Auburn as his next destination.

[autotag]Hugh Freeze[/autotag] and the Auburn coaching staff are beginning to take a look at the junior college ranks in an effort to fill out their 2024 recruiting board.

Like their high school targets, Auburn is going big when it comes to landing the best players from the JUCO level. One of the nation’s top JUCO recruits recently revealed his top five choices and has included Auburn in the mix.

[autotag]Laquan Robinson[/autotag], a three-star JUCO safety originally from Greenville, Alabama, dropped his top five on Tuesday. Joining Auburn in the hunt to land him are Florida, Houston, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M.

Laquan Robinson is another prospect who has very little happen recently in his recruitment. Ole Miss and Auburn were considered the leaders at one point, but it remains to be seen if that is still the case.

While he searches for his next home, he currently resides on the Holmes Community College football roster. According to 247Sports, Robinson is the No. 5 JUCO prospect for the 2024 class and is the No. 1 safety.
