The upcoming campaign could put the Badgers on the map as a top program in the nation, elevating them from being one of the top programs in the Big Ten.

So far for the class of 2024, Wisconsin has gotten three commitments from three-star defensive athletes. To this point, linebackers Thomas Heiberger (Sioux Falls, SD) and Landon Gauthier (Green Bay, WI) as well as safety Kahmir Prescott (Philadelphia, PA) have picked Madison as their college destinations.

As of now, Beasley has received 12 Division 1 offers, with powerhouses like Georgia and USC already having extended offers to him. Considering he’s from Cincy, he’ll likely hear from Cincinnati and Ohio State at some point, but Luke Fickell’s name certainly carries value in his community.

The safety could wait a number of months to decide where he wants to end up, but if he chooses Wisconsin he’ll become their first commitment in the secondary. Three-star linebackers Landon Gauthier (Green Bay, Wisconsin) and Thomas Heiberger (Sioux Falls, South Dakota) already choosing Mike Tressel’s defense and the Badgers in the class of 2024.

Gauthier chose Wisconsin over six other Division 1 offers, including one from Minnesota. Instead, he elected to become the second linebacker to commit to the Badgers over the last few days, joining three-star Thomas Heiberger (April 9).

Now on tap for the class of 2024, Wisconsin has received six commitments, including four-star quarterback Mabrey Mettauer (The Woodlands, Texas), four-star tight end Grant Stec (Algonquin, Illinois), three-star tight end Robert Booker (Waunakee, Wisconsin) and three-star offensive tackle Derek Jensen (Hartland, Wisconsin).
