4-star 2025 EDGE LaJesse Harrold commits to LSU

LSU’s 2025 class got even better on Saturday.

LSU’s already strong 2025 class got even better on Saturday.

The Tigers reeled in a commitment from four-star Robinson (Tampa) edge rusher [autotag]LaJesse Harrold[/autotag], the No. 100 player in the nation according to On3. The 6-foot-5, 207-pound prospect is also the No. 15 edge rusher nationally and the No. 14 recruit in the state of Florida.

Harrold’s commitment comes just a day after he was on campus for an official visit to Texas A&M. He officially visited LSU the prior weekend and Illinois the weekend before.

He’s the second high-profile recruit to commit to the Tigers in the last few days as No. 1 2025 interior offensive lineman [autotag]Carius Curne[/autotag] also joined the class.

LSU’s group of 13 commits now features eight top-100 prospects, headlined by five-star [autotag]Bryce Underwood[/autotag] and [autotag]Harlem Berry[/autotag].

Top 100 EDGE LaJesse Harrold impressed by official visit to LSU

Last weekend’s official visit seems to have made an impact on the blue-chip EDGE from Tampa.

LSU just wrapped up a star-studded official visit weekend with several of the team’s top commits and targets on campus.

Among those players was [autotag]LaJesse Harrold[/autotag], an edge rusher from Robinson (Tampa) who ranks inside the top 100 nationally and in the top 15 at his position.

Harrold was coming off his first official visit to Illinois the week prior, and he has another one set with Texas A&M next weekend. LSU still has some work to do here, but he spoke highly of his visit with 247Sports’ Glen West (subscription required), saying that it was clear the Tigers want him on board in the class.

LSU’s 2025 class ranks as high as No. 2 nationally with 11 players currently committed, but the Tigers currently hold no pledges from defensive linemen in the cycle.
