The Red Storm won their season-opening game 97-72 against Merrimack. Going Over the total of 138.5 by a full 30 points. While the defense will need to improve going into Big East play, the offense is playing great. Although, it was only one game against an outmatched opponent.

St. John’s will win. But after scoring 97 Monday, I do not see them getting to such heights in this game. Lafayette was able to hold Miami to 67 points on Monday. The Leopards will be able to hold down the Red Storm just enough to cover this spread. I will take Lafayette +23.5 (-114)
Over/Under
BET OVER 149.5 (-114).
The Red Storm will score Saturday against the Leopards. But in return, the Leopards will be able to take advantage of the St. John’s defense and score a bit of their own.
After giving up 72 to Merrimack, St. John’s will again give up 70 here. With the Red Storm getting to 80, the Over 149.5 (-114) is my favorite play.
