NFC Divisional Round: LA Rams at Philadelphia Eagles odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s LA Rams at Philadelphia Eagles odds and lines, with expert NFL picks and predictions.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The LA Rams (11-7) will be on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles (15-3) in the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs Sunday as each team tries to punch its ticket to the NFC title game. Kickoff will be at 3 p.m. ET (NBC) from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds around the Rams vs. Eagles odds, and make our expert NFL picks and predictions.

The Rams have won 6 of their last 7 games, with their only loss being a Week 18 game against the Seattle Seahawks when they were resting their starters. Since their Week 5 bye, the Rams have gone 10-3 following a 1-4 start, cruising into the playoffs as NFC West champions. They advanced to the Divisional Round with a dominant 27-9 Wild Card win over the Minnesota Vikings, sacking QB Sam Darnold 9 times and forcing 2 turnovers.

The Eagles are even hotter than the Rams, having won 13 of their last 14 games after a 2-2 start to the year. They’ve now won 3 straight following their 22-10 victory over the Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card Round, completely shutting down QB Jordan Love and the offense with an excellent performance on defense (302 yards allowed, 4 takeaways). The Eagles only threw for 121 yards as a team, but RB Saquon Barkley had 119 yards on the ground to carry the offense.

Rams at Eagles picks and predictions

Prediction

Eagles 21, Rams 17

Moneyline

The Eagles won their first meeting with the Rams, 37-20, back in Week 12. Barkley rushed for 255 yards and had 47 yards receiving with 2 total touchdowns in that game, taking pressure off of Hurts and carrying the offense with a historic performance. His two 70-plus-yard touchdown runs in the second half really broke things open, but the Rams were in that game until halftime when the score was 13-7.

The Eagles are the better team on paper and should win Sunday, but at -275, they’re not worth betting on the moneyline because LA is going to keep it much closer this time around. PASS on the ML.

Against the spread

Both of these teams have been great ATS in their last 10 games. The Rams are 7-3, including 6-1 in their last 7, while the Eagles are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 and 12-6 on the year.

The Rams failed to cover the spread in their first matchup of the season as 3-point underdogs, but they’re getting 6 points as the road team this weekend. With QB Matthew Stafford‘s 5-1 straight-up playoff record with the Rams, they’re a good bet to cover the spread and potentially upset the Eagles.

Take the points in what could be an unpredictable game in snowy conditions. BET RAMS +6 (-110).

Over/Under

The O/U hasn’t moved much at all despite snow being in the forecast for Sunday’s game, which is somewhat surprising. The Under looked good at the start of the week with the Over being sub-.500 for both of these teams this season.

The Rams scored 27 points against the Vikings but one of their touchdowns came on a fumble return and the other was after a turnover on downs that gave them a short field.

The Eagles only managed 22 points against the Packers and play at a slow pace with how frequently they run the ball (most rush attempts in NFL). BET UNDER 43.5 (-110) in this one.

Alex’s best bet: LA Rams at Philadelphia Eagles prediction

SportsbookWire.com’s Alex White says her best NFL bet in the Divisional Round is a total in LA Rams at Philadelphia Eagles.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

SportsbookWire.com’s Alex White likes a total in the Sunday’s NFC Divisional Round Game between the LA Rams (11-7) and the Philadelphia Eagles (15-3).

Kickoff from Lincoln Financial Field is slated for 3 p.m. ET and will be televised on NBC and Peacock. As of Thursday at 5:19 p.m. ET, BetMGM Sportsbook has the O/U line at 44 (Over: -110 | Under: -110).

The Rams advanced with a 27-9 victory as 2.5-point underdogs over the Minnesota Vikings (14-4) in Glendale, Ariz., in the Monday Wild Card Game. They were supposed play in LA, but the game was moved due to the raging wildfires in the Los Angeles region.

The Eagles won their Wild Card contest 22-10 as 5.5-point home favorites vs. the Green Bay Packers (11-7) last Sunday.

The Under cashed in both games.

Overall, LA is 8-10 O/U; Philadelphia is 7-11 O/U.

Listen below for more reasons why Alex likes a total in this Divisional Round matchup.

NFC Wild Card: Minnesota Vikings vs. LA Rams odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Monday’s Minnesota Vikings vs. LA Rams odds and lines, with expert NFL picks and predictions.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The Minnesota Vikings (14-3) and LA Rams (10-7) will wrap up Wild Card weekend Monday night with the final game of the first round of the playoffs. The game was moved from SoFi Stadium to State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., due to the wildfires in LA, but kickoff remains at 8 p.m. ET (ESPN). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds around the Vikings vs. Rams odds, and make our expert NFL picks and predictions.

The Vikings will be the road team as the No. 5 seed in the NFC despite going 14-3 during the regular season, making them the first team ever to be a Wild Card with 14 wins. Minnesota is coming off a 31-9 loss to the Detroit Lions in the Week 18 finale, which was a game to win the NFC North. Its only 3 losses this season were to the Lions twice and the Rams once.

The Rams snapped their 5-game winning streak in Week 18 but primarily because they rested their starters against the Seattle Seahawks in a narrow 30-25 loss. QB Matthew Stafford, WR Puka Nacua, RB Kyren Williams and several other primary starters sat out the game to get fresh for the playoffs. This is the Rams’ second straight trip to the postseason after getting eliminated by the Lions in the Wild Card round last year.

Vikings vs. Rams picks and predictions

Prediction

Rams 24, Vikings 21

Moneyline

The Vikings are technically the lower seed, but it’s the Rams who are the underdogs. LA has had a hectic week due to the wildfires, causing the Rams to alter their practice schedule and travel plans after they were expecting to play at home.

But despite all that, Rams coach Sean McVay is one of the best in the NFL and always seems to have his players ready to go no matter the circumstances. For instance, in 2018, the Rams beat the Kansas City Chiefs, 54-51, after the game was moved from Mexico City to LA — and it was played shortly after wildfires broke out in several areas near the Rams’ training complex in Thousand Oaks and there was a mass shooting in the city.

The Vikings looked vulnerable in the season finale and QB Sam Darnold showed some of his flaws from earlier in his career, missing throws in the red zone and struggling against pressure.

The Rams have the pass rush to disrupt Darnold, and the offensive line has been playing better as of late, going 5 straight games without allowing a sack before Week 18. BET RAMS (+120) to win outright.

Against the spread

Because we’re already betting on the moneyline, it’s best to PASS on the spread — especially considering it’s not at a key number of 3 or more.

Over/Under

The Rams offense has been struggling as of late, scoring fewer than 20 points in each of their last 3 games with Stafford under center. The Vikings couldn’t run the ball against the Lions, and Darnold was terrible under pressure, causing Minnesota’s offense to sputter, too.

With the Rams’ secondary improving and the pass rush humming, they should be able to keep the Vikings in check. Minnesota’s cornerbacks could cause problems for Stafford and the Rams if the pass rush also gets going, which could also lead to fewer points.

BET UNDER 48 (-110).

Wild Card first look: Minnesota Vikings at LA Rams odds and lines

Looking at Monday’s Minnesota Vikings at LA Rams odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The Minnesota Vikings (14-3) and LA Rams (10-7) will square off in the Wild Card round of the NFL playoffs next Monday night. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET (ESPN) from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif. Below, we look at Vikings vs. Rams odds from BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds before making our expert NFL picks and predictions later in the week.

The Vikings dropped to the No. 5 seed after getting trounced by the Detroit Lions 31-9 on Sunday night. The Lions secured the top seed and a first-round bye, while Minnesota will now have to go on the road against the Rams. QB Sam Darnold threw for just 166 yards on 18-for-41 passing, throwing no touchdowns or interceptions in the loss.

The Rams opted to rest most of their starters on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks, keeping QB Matthew Stafford, WR Puka Nacua, RB Kyren Williams, WR Cooper Kupp and others out of the game. They lost a close one at home, 30-25, but they had already clinched the NFC West so the impact was minimal. Los Angeles dropped from the No. 3 seed to No. 4 as a result of the loss.

Vikings vs. Rams head-to-head

The Vikings and Rams met this season in Week 8 with LA winning 30-20 as 2.5-point underdogs at home. The total went Over the line of 46.5 points. Stafford threw for 279 yards and 4 TDs in the win, while Darnold racked up 240 yards and 2 TDs.

It was the Rams’ third straight win against the Vikings since 2018, scoring at least 30 points in all 3 games. The Rams are 3-1 against Minnesota with Sean McVay as their head coach, though they’re just 2-2 ATS in that span.

Arizona Cardinals at LA Rams odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Arizona Cardinals at LA Rams odds and lines, with expert NFL picks and predictions.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The Arizona Cardinals (7-8) are on the road against the LA Rams (9-6) this week, a special Saturday night showdown at SoFi Stadium. This NFC West matchup will kick off at 8:15 p.m. ET (NFL Network). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds around the Cardinals vs. Rams odds, and make our expert NFL picks and predictions.

The Cardinals were shockingly eliminated from playoff contention in Week 16 when they lost to the Carolina Panthers in overtime, 36-30, as 5.5-point favorites. Had the Cardinals beat the Panthers, this game would have major playoff implications in the NFC West. Instead, only the Rams have something to play for.

LA can clinch the division title this weekend with a win over the Cardinals and help from 4 other teams. It’s not the clearest path to the postseason in Week 17, but it’s possible for the Rams to lock up a playoff berth by Sunday. In their most recent game, the Rams beat the New York Jets, 19-9, Sunday afternoon, which was their fourth straight win.

Cardinals at Rams picks and predictions

Prediction

Rams 24, Cardinals 17

Moneyline

PASS on the moneyline. The Rams are too heavily favored at -300 to be worth betting, and with the Cardinals having nothing to play for, Arizona is also a risky play on the ML.

Against the spread

The Cardinals are just 2-3 ATS in their last 5 games, losing 4 of them outright to their opponent. The Rams, meanwhile, are the much hotter team. They’re riding a 4-game winning streak and have covered the spread in all of them, twice as favorites and twice as underdogs.

The Rams are big favorites at -6.5, but they’re finding ways to win and will now be out of the elements after back-to-back games in the rain and freezing temperatures. The offense should perform much better than it has in the last 2 games when the Rams scored 19 and 12 points.

BET RAMS -6.5 (-115) to cover the spread and beat the Cardinals by a touchdown.

Over/Under

The total in Rams games has only gone over 48 points once in the last 4 weeks. The same goes for the Cardinals.

LA is notorious for starting games slowly and Arizona’s offense has had dry spells in the last month, putting up 22 or fewer points in 3 of its last 5 games.

BET UNDER 48 (-110).

Alex’s best bet: LA Rams at New Orleans Saints prediction

SportsbookWire.com’s Alex White says her best NFL bet in Week 13 is a total in the LA Rams at New Orleans matchup.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

SportsbookWire.com’s Alex White “loves” a total for her best NFL bet in Week 13 when the LA Rams (5-6) visit the New Orleans Saints (4-7) Sunday.

Kickoff from Caesars Superdome is set for 4:05 p.m. ET and will be televised on FOX. As of Sunday at 3:40 a.m. ET, BetMGM Sportsbook has the O/U line at 49.5 (Over: -110 | Under: -110), up from 49, which it was Saturday afternoon.

Alex is looking to go 2-0 this weekend as she nailed her best college football bet Saturday when UTSA (+6.5) covered in a 29-24 loss at Army.

LA Rams at Seattle Seahawks odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s LA Rams at Seattle Seahawks odds and lines, with expert NFL picks and predictions.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The LA Rams (3-4) are visiting the Seattle Seahawks (4-4) Sunday for a Week 9 matchup at Lumen Field. Kickoff from Seattle will be at 4:25 p.m. ET (FOX) as these 2 NFC West foes square off for the first time this season. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds around the Rams vs. Seahawks odds, and make our expert NFL picks and predictions.

The Rams come into this game having won each of their last 2, beating the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7, 20-15, and the Minnesota Vikings last week, 30-20. They’ve climbed closer to the .500 mark after starting the year 1-4, benefiting greatly from the return of WRs Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua last week.

The Seahawks’ season is trending in the opposite direction. They started 3-0 but have lost 4 of their last 5 games, including a 31-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 8. They still lead the division with a 4-4 record, but a loss to the Rams Sunday will drop them out of the NFC West lead.

Rams at Seahawks picks and predictions

Prediction

Rams 27, Seahawks 24

Moneyline

The RAMS (-125) have had the Seahawks’ number since coach Sean McVay was hired in 2017, winning 10 of their 15 meetings in that span. In their last 10 games against the Seahawks, the Rams are 7-3 straight up (SU). They’ve won 7 games by at least 7 points and 5 by at least 10 points, too.

Both teams are banged up, but the Rams looked like the better team in Week 8 with Nacua and Kupp back. BET RAMS (-125) to win outright.

Against the spread

As good as the Rams have been against the Seahawks SU, their ATS record is even better. LA is 8-2 ATS when facing the Seahawks in the last 10 meetings, covering in 6 of the last 7 since Jan. 2021.

The Rams have struggled to cover the spread this season, but they did so against the Vikings as 2.5-point underdogs by beating Minnesota outright by 10 points. BET RAMS -1.5 (-110).

Over/Under

The Rams scored 30 points last week for the first time since Week 16 of last season, finding a rhythm on offense with Kupp and Nacua back. Week 8 was the first time the Seahawks scored fewer than 20 points all season, so they’ve been a consistent producer of points on offense for most of the year.

With how pass-heavy Seattle’s game plan typically is, this should be a high-scoring game at Lumen Field. BET OVER 48 (-110).

Las Vegas Raiders at LA Rams odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s Las Vegas Raiders at LA Rams odds and lines, with expert NFL picks and predictions.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The Las Vegas Raiders (2-4) and LA Rams (1-4) will square off in Week 7 as both teams look to inch closer to the .500 mark. Kickoff from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., is set for 4:05 p.m. ET (CBS) Sunday. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds around the Raiders vs. Rams odds, and make our expert NFL picks and predictions.

The Raiders have lost 2 games in a row after starting the year 2-2, losing to the Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers in the last 2 weeks. QB Aidan O’Connell has replaced Gardner Minshew as the starter, but the change hasn’t yielded the results coach Antonio Pierce was looking for.

The Rams were on their bye in Week 6, getting the week off after starting the year 1-4. They’re sitting in last place in the NFC West, but they’re just 1½ games behind the 3-3 San Francisco 49ers for the division lead. Injuries have taken a toll on the Rams all year, with WRs Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua each missing 3-plus games.

Raiders at Rams picks and predictions

Prediction

Rams 24, Raiders 13

Moneyline

The Rams are heavily favored in this matchup, but they’re not a good enough team to warrant a bet at -350 odds. The Raiders upset the Ravens in Week 2, and while that’s not expected to happen again this week, the Rams haven’t played enough consistent football this season to feel good about laying that number.

This is just the 1st time all season the Rams are favored over their opponent, and they’re giving a lot of points to Las Vegas. Even as 7-point favorites, they’re the better pick against the spread. The Raiders are coming off 2 losses by 16 and 19 points in their last 2 games with O’Connell under center.

Now they’ll face a Rams team that’s fresh off a bye and could have Kupp back in the mix. Only adding to the adversity is the absence of Raiders WR Davante Adams following his trade to the Jets and the likely absence of Meyers due to injury.

BET RAMS -7 (-110).

Over/Under

Neither of these offenses is particularly efficient. The Rams have moved the ball decently well between the 20s, but when they get to the red zone, they’ve only scored touchdowns 45% of the time – 24th in the NFL. That should make this a lower-scoring game, especially with Las Vegas missing its top 2 receivers.

As long as there aren’t too many big plays or turnovers by the offense deep in their own territory, this game should lack points a bit.

BET UNDER 43.5 (-110).

LA Rams at Chicago Bears odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s LA Rams at Chicago Bears odds and lines, with expert NFL picks and predictions.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

Week 4 features a matchup between 2 NFC teams looking to get back to .500 Sunday when the LA Rams (1-2) visit the Chicago Bears (1-2) at Soldier Field. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET (FOX). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds around the Rams vs. Bears odds, and make our expert NFL picks and predictions.

The Rams come into this game after stunning the San Francisco 49ers in Week 3, winning 27-24 at home after trailing 24-14 in the 4th quarter. It was the Rams’ 1st win of the season after losing to the Detroit Lions and Arizona Cardinals in the first 2 weeks. WR Puka Nacua and WR Cooper Kupp remain sidelined with injuries, so the Rams will once again be shorthanded on offense.

The Bears won their season opener against the Tennessee Titans but have lost their last 2 games since. Last week, they fell to the Indianapolis Colts at home despite QB Caleb Williams throwing for 363 yards and 2 touchdowns. Chicago is now 1-1-1 against the spread (ATS) and the total has gone Under in all 3 of its games.

Rams at Bears picks and predictions

Prediction

Rams 20, Bears 17

Moneyline

The RAMS (+135) come into this game with much more momentum than the Bears after upsetting the 49ers in Week 3. Chicago may have the same record, but that win against the Titans in the opener was ugly and the Rams could easily be 2-1 after losing in overtime to the mighty Lions.

Even as the road team, the Rams are a good bet to win outright simply because they have the better coach and the better quarterback. BET RAMS (+135).

Against the spread

If you want a little bit of insurance in case this game is close, you could take the Rams and the points in addition to the moneyline by splitting a unit between the 2 bets. But the Rams have looked like the better team and it’s not like they’ll be dealing with difficult conditions in Chicago compared to LA.

BET RAMS +3 (-110) as a safety net in addition to the ML.

Over/Under

The total has gone Under in each of the Bears’ first 3 games of 2024 and although the Over is 2-1 in Rams games this season, that number could be 1-2 if not for the Cardinals’ 41-point outburst in Week 2 and the Rams’ 13-point flurry in the final 6 minutes of their win over the 49ers.

The Bears defense is good and neither offense is exactly humming right now, so it could be a lower-scoring game where the Rams try to shorten it by running the ball and taking pressure off of QB Matthew Stafford.

BET UNDER 40.5 (-110).
