Josh Allen reflects on narrative that #Bills can’t win one-score games (video):

NFL Network’s Kyle Brandt has made his feelings known on the sentiment that the Bills can’t win one-score games. He did so even before they topped the Ravens in Week 4.

During Josh Allen’s weekly appearance on his podcast, Kyle Brandt’s Basement, the host did so again. He called those who think that “morons.”

After the Bills snapped their 0-7 streak in one-score games, Allen took time to reflect on that idea as well.

Check out the clip below for Allen’s breakdown:

Josh Allen reflects on first start as Kenny Pickett is set to make his (video)

Josh Allen reflects on first start as Kenny Pickett is set to make his (video):

Quarterback Kenny Pickett will remember Sunday for the rest of his life.

It will be his first-career start as he leads the Pittsburgh Steelers to Buffalo to faceoff against the Bills and Josh Allen.

While the opposing QB and his team will be a huge challenge for Pickett, Allen sympathizes with the rookie a bit.

During his weekly segment on the Kyle Brandt’s Basement podcast, Allen looked ahead to the matchup. Not only that, he discussed his first-career start and the wild ride it was.

“I was extremely flustered,” Allen said. “My O-line is looking back on my like ‘What are you doing?'”

For those wondering, Allen’s first go was in Week 2 of his rookie year against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Bills lost 31-20, but he’s come a long way.

Kyle Brandt: Society ‘not prepared’ for a Bills-Eagles Super Bowl

Kyle Brandt: Society ‘not prepared’ for a #Bills-#Eagles Super Bowl:

The only way the Bills and Eagles will play each other during the 2022 NFL season is if it’s in the Super Bowl.

After both teams started the year hot… some are talking about that possibility.

But NFL Network’s Kyle Brandt says there’s no way that should happen.

Not because he doesn’t want it to. In fact, he said he likes both fan bases. However, Brandt noted that all that football passion in one place might be an overload.

“Those two kids can’t play together,” Brandt said.

Check out the clip below from Kyle Brandt’s Basement for his full breakdown on a potential Bills-Eagles Super Bowl:

Bills QB Josh Allen says he ‘didn’t take a big hit’ vs. Rams (video)

#Bills QB Josh Allen says he ‘didn’t take a big hit’ vs. #Rams (video):

Josh Allen throwing the ball for the Bills inspired many in Buffalo.

It was his rushing that caused reason for concern against the Los Angeles Rams during a 31-10 victory in Week 1.

Specifically running, Allen had 10 carries for 56 yards and a touchdown in the contest. He was his team’s leading rusher.

Great on paper, tougher to swallow with the risk of injury.

Allen’s good and fans don’t want him to get hurt. It’s as simple as that.

During his weekly appearance on Kyle Brandt’s Basement, Allen recognized those feelings some might have.

He just doesn’t share them.

“Is it necessary? Absolutely not,” Allen said about rushing the ball late against the Rams. “But it’s football. Things happen.”

Allen still might need to reconsider.

He didn’t seem upset, but Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott said via video conference that his QB really doesn’t have to run the ball in such occasions.

However, McDermott did note that things can be circumstantial. He said Allen ran out of options when trying to throw the ball, on occasion, leading to his carries.

McDermott added his staff can take some of that blame.

“That’s something we can do better at as coaches and we will moving forward,” McDermott said.

Specific plays where Allen had to hang on and run was something he mentioned during his interview as well.
