4-star OT Kodi Green announces college commitment

The Oregon Ducks landed a massive commitment from 4-star offensive tackle Kodi Greene in the 2026 class.

The Southern California to Oregon pipeline continues.

On Monday afternoon, 4-star offensive tackle Kodi Greene announced his college commitment, verbally pledging to the Oregon Ducks over the USC Trojans, Washington Huskies, and Michigan Wolverines.

Greene is one of the top-rated tackles in the class of 2026, ranked by 247Sports as the No. 4 OT and No. 28 overall player in the nation. He currently stands at 6-foot-6, 285 pounds going into his junior year.

The commitment from Greene was expected, as last week, both 247Sports analyst Brandon Huffman and On3’s Steve Wiltfong placed predictions for the Ducks to end up with Greene. Greene now joins Oregon’s No. 6 class in the 2026 cycle after picking up commitments from 4-star RB Tradarian Ball and 4-star QB Jonas Williams over the past month.

More importantly, Greene is another major piece in the Ducks’ Mater Dei pipeline that has been established over the past couple of years under Dan Lanning. As one of the premier high school teams in all of California, the Ducks have landed highly-rated players from there such as Aydin Breland, Jack Ressler, Jordon Davison, and many others.

Earlier this week, both 247Sports analyst Brandon Huffman and On3’s Steve Wiltfong placed predictions for the Ducks to end up with Greene. We will see on Monday afternoon if they can add to that haul with Greene, whose addition would boost their class up to No. 5 in the nation.

Oregon Ducks pick up predictions to land one of top OTs in 2026 class

The Oregon Ducks have picked up a couple of predictions to land 4-star OT Kodi Greene, one of the top players at Mater Dei.

The Southern California to Oregon pipeline is an important one for the Oregon Ducks and something that Dan Lanning and his staff have worked really hard to establish over the past couple of years.

Things appear to be going well, especially when you focus on the players from elite high school Mater Dei and their commitments to Oregon.

On Thursday, the Ducks picked up a pair of predictions to get a commitment from one of the best offensive linemen in the 2026 class — 4-star OT Kodi Greene. The Mater Dei star is rated by 247Sports as the No. 28 overall player in the nation, and the No. 4 OT in the 2026 class.

The predictions came from 247Sports’ Brandon Huffman and On3’s Steve Wiltfong.

Standing at 6-foot-6, 285 pounds, Green would join a long list of former Mater Dei players to continue their careers in Eugene, following in the footsteps of the likes of Aydin Breland, Jack Ressler, Jordon Davison, and many others.

No commitment date has been set for Greene, but it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the West Coast product announce his decision soon.
