Kings at Raptors picks and predictions

Prediction

Raptors 118, Kings 112

Moneyline

Considering the odds for the Raptors to win on Wednesday, I’ll PASS on the moneyline. Even though Toronto is expected to win, taking the Raptors straight up isn’t advised.

Against the spread

Following 2 disappointing losses to the Magic, RAPTORS -5.5 (-110) is an intriguing bet. Toronto won’t have Anunoby, but the team still has F Pascal Siakam, G Fred VanVleet, and F Scottie Barnes.

The Raptors are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 games coming off 2 days of rest and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 home games against a team with a losing road record. Also, the Kings are 2-7-1 ATS in their last 10 meetings with the Raptors.

Over/Under

OVER 227.5 (-110) is an enticing wager despite the Raptors playing at the 7th-slowest pace in the NBA becasue the Kings play at the 6th-fastest pace, so it will be a pace-up game for the Raptors.

The Over has hit in 5 of the last 6 meetings between Sacramento and Toronto.

Sacramento Kings at Toronto Raptors odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Monday’s Sacramento Kings at Toronto Raptors odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Sacramento Kings (11-16) travel to Scotiabank Arena Monday to take on the Toronto Raptors (12-14). Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Kings at Raptors odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

Oddly enough, the Raptors have been awful at home. They’re 5-9 in Canada, yet 7-5 elsewhere.

Led by PF Pascal Siakam and SF Scottie Barnes, the Raptors should vie for a playoff spot in a weaker Eastern Conference. They’re 11-15 against the spread this season and 4-6 ATS as home favorites.

As for the Kings, they’re 12-15 ATS and 5-5 ATS as road dogs. They’ve had no issue scoring points but have the fourth-worst defensive rating in the NBA.

Kings at Raptors odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Kings 118, Raptors 112

Money line

Slight “LEAN” to the KINGS (+155) as they have one of the most lethal offenses in the NBA and are the healthier team. Combine that with the Raptors struggles at home, and I’ll take the underdogs money line.

I’d prefer the points here, though.

Against the spread

BET KINGS +4.5 (-107) as the best bet in this game. The Raptors have lost four of their last seven, including games against the Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers, both teams outside of playoff contention.

The Raptors’ main advantage over teams has been their rebounding, but without Achiuwa and Anunoby, that could take a hit. As for the Kings, they’ve won 3 of their last 5 including a one-point loss (124-123) to the Charlotte Hornets.

Sacramento has been playing well lately and are better on the road than at home. Toronto is 2-6 ATS vs. Western Conference teams.

I’ll take the KINGS +4.5 (-107) and the points here.

Over/Under

BET on the OVER 221.5 (-108).

The Kings rank 10th in offensive rating and 27th in defensive rating. They play at a quick pace as well.

They have scored 120 or more points in three of their last five. With the Raptors not a great defensive team like they used to be and with two defenders out, Toronto should struggle to defend a lethal Sacramento side.

However, the Kings do allow the most offensive rebounds per game to opponents, and the Raptors have the highest offensive-rebounding rate. That should help boost the total.
