Alabama offers 2024 3-Star LB Keyshawn Flowers

2024 linebacker Keyshawn Flowers received an offer from Alabama over the weekend. Flowers is a three-star prospect from Maryland.

The Alabama coaching staff has landed several elite prospects over the years from Maryland. Now, the Tide are in pursuit of 2024 three-star linebacker Keyshawn Flowers, who received an offer from the Alabama coaching staff on Sunday.

Flowers plays linebacker at Archbishop Spalding High School in Severn, Maryland. During his junior season, Flowers tallied 81 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, and five sacks.

Flowers’ highlight tape shows his proven ability to rush the passer whether it be from inside the box or off the edge. He possesses a good mix of size and speed at 6-foot-1, 215 pounds.

Alabama could certainly use a linebacker that can roam the field and play multiple positions. At this time, the Tide has one linebacker committed in the 2024 class and that is four-star Sterling Dixon.

Michigan State football offers 2024 LB Keyshawn Flowers

A fast rising LB in the 2024 recruiting class has picked up an offer from MSU:

Michigan State has sent out a key offer in the 2024 recruiting class, showing interest in a fast rising linebacker from Maryland. Keyshawn Flowers was the latest prospect to receive an offer from MSU. A 6-foot-2, 215 pound linebacker, Flowers has the skillset Michigan State’s defensive staff loves in the box.

Not yet ranked by recruiting services, Flowers has an impressive offer list that includes:

Duke, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Miami, NC State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Pittsburgh, USC, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and West Virginia.

Sooners target Keyshawn Flowers planning Oklahoma visit

Sooners’ target Keyshawn Flowers planning Oklahoma visit this spring.

The Oklahoma Sooners recently offered 2024 linebacker [autotag]Keyshawn Flowers[/autotag] out of Maryland. With the recent [autotag]offer[/autotag], he’s hoping to make the trip to Norman sometime this spring.

Flowers told 247Sports’ Brian Dohn, “I should be going to Miami sometime in March, and Oklahoma sometime in either March or April. Miami and Oklahoma dates aren’t confirmed.”

The Oklahoma Sooners have a couple of big recruiting weekends in March followed by their Spring Game on April 22.

Though he hasn’t been rated by the major recruiting services at this point, he’s a prospect that’s garnering a lot of buzz at the Power Five level at this stage of his recruitment. In addition to a recent offer from Oklahoma, he’s got 14 Power Five offers on the table at this time.

Penn State, Miami, Notre Dame, and USC are interested in the athletic linebacker who has the looks of a four-star prospect.

Flowers is a natural blitzer from the linebacker position and looks like someone who could play Cheetah for the Sooners. He’s quick off the snap and understands how to set up blockers on the rush. He does a good job disguising the rush before darting through the line of scrimmage.

He’s an athletic player who will make an impact in both the running and passing game. His play speed is something that the Sooners’ coaching staff would love to have on the roster.

Notre Dame latest to offer surging 2024 Maryland linebacker

The Irish offer a linebacker who has seen his recruitment blow up in the last month

It’s safe to say that Maryland linebacker [autotag]Keyshawn Flowers[/autotag] is seeing his recruitment blow up and his latest offer, from [autotag]Notre Dame[/autotag], confirms that notion.

After getting over 15 offers this past month, the Irish joined in on the pursuit of Flowers. At six-foot, two-inches and 215 pounds, the East coast linebacker is starting to look like a national recruit.

Some of those offers, like USC, Oklahoma and Miami, show that Flowers is going to be a highly-sought after prospect. The Notre Dame offer is No. 21 for the ‘backer and don’t expect that number to stop surging. He does have a few visits scheduled during the spring and if the Irish are an added destination, it will look very good for the budding relationship.

At this moment, Flowers is not ranked by the 247Sports composite, but that should change in the future.
