Mattress Mack came to the 2022 Kentucky Derby with $4 million and an absolutely wild suit

Mattress Mack gets it!

Mattress Mack is pulling up to the Kentucky Derby ready and willing to bet $4 million dollars, and he’s prepared to do so in quite possibly one of the most unique outfits you’ve ever seen.

And by unique, we mean amazing. Because it takes a brilliant mind to even think of getting a jacket customized with every horse since the start of the Kentucky Derby to win the Run for the Roses— but in true Mack fashion, he included the winner and their odds.

The best part of the whole jacket is undoubtedly the inside, where he’s got pictures throughout of “Run Happy,” his favorite horse of all time.

Creativity gets an A+. Execution gets an A+. Shoutout to his designer.

If covering yourself in winners doesn’t provide the vibes you want at the Kentucky Derby, nothing will.

Why the Kentucky Derby gives a giant garland of roses to the winner

Why the Run for Roses? There’s an answer for that.

If you’re watching the Kentucky Derby — known as the “Run for the Roses” and seeing that giant garland of roses and wondered, “Hey, what’s the deal with that?” then we’ve got you covered.

Per NBC: “In 1883, New York socialite E. Berry Wall presented roses to the women at a party. Inspired by this gesture, Churchill Downs founder and president Meriwether Lewis Clark announced that roses were the official flower of the Kentucky Derby. In 1896, the tradition of draping a blanket of 554 red roses on the Kentucky Derby winner began.”

The process that it takes to put together hundreds of roses is quite a task, and here’s a video about it:

There you have it!

Betting on the Kentucky Derby has never been easier.

Here’s something you probably know already— the Kentucky Derby is America’s biggest horse race that annually takes place usually on the first Saturday of May. Here’s something you might not know — you can bet on the big event without even being there in person.

Twitter had lots of jokes about Bob Baffert trying to blame cancel culture for horse doping allegations

LOL, Baffert.

Medina Spirit’s victory earlier this month at the Kentucky Derby is in jeopardy of being revoked after the horse failed a drug test following the race.

That seems like a pretty easy thing to understand – if you cheat and get caught then you pay the consequences, right?

Well, the horse’s trainer, Hall of Famer Bob Baffert, doesn’t think it’s as simple as that as he came out on Monday and blabbered about how cancel culture is the thing to blame for the predicament that he and his horse find themselves in.

For real. He thinks cancel culture is to blame for this!

Come on, bro.

Twitter had lots of jokes:
