Where will you be watching from?

[autotag]Nate Oats[/autotag] and the Alabama basketball team will look to extend their lead in the SEC on Saturday when they travel to Rupp Arena to take on John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats.

Winning on the road in the SEC is never easy, but if Oats and the Tide can come away with a victory, it would further enhance their chances of winning their third regular season SEC title in the last four seasons.

Alabama enters the matchup with an 11-2 record in conference play while the Wildcats are fifth in the league with an 8-5 record.

Below is all the information you need for Saturday’s matchup between Alabama and Kentucky, including the broadcast guide, injury report, and projected starting lineups.

Alabama Basketball’s Mo Wague suspended by SEC for Kentucky game

Alabama basketball F Mo Wague suspended for “committing a fighting act” in win against Florida.

Alabama men’s basketball will be without junior forward Mohamed Wague on Saturday when the Tide faces Kentucky on the road. The Southeastern Conference announced that Wague would be suspended for Alabama’s next game for “committing a fighting act.”

Videos circulated on social media after the Crimson Tide’s overtime win over Florida of Wague hitting a Gators’ basketball player in the back of the head with an elbow/forearm.

The SEC explains the suspension in the announcement:

“NCAA rules require a suspension for the next regular-season game when a player commits an act of fighting defined as ‘a confrontation involving one or more players, coaches or other team personnel wherein (but not limited to) a fist, hand, arm, foot, knee or leg is used to combatively strike the other individual.'”

Head coach Nate Oats released a statement shortly after the suspension was handed down.

“We received the discipline for Mo from the SEC and agree with the suspension,” states Oats. “After reviewing the film, the penalty is understandable and appropriate.”

In 24 games this season, Wague has averaged 10 minutes, four points and 2.8 rebounds.

Kentucky men’s basketball made unfortunate history amid worst home losing streak since 1966

Kentucky is down historically bad.

Kentucky men’s basketball team is down historically bad.

After dropping a Saturday home stand to Gonzaga, the Wildcats have now lost three-straight home games for the first time since 1966, per ESPN and CBS Sports.

It’d be the first time in Rupp Arena that the team has gone so long without winning a game in home since ESPN notes the stadium opened in 1976.

Losses to Gonzaga, Tennessee and Florida make up this three-game home skid, which, again, is historically bad for the Wildcats.

Kentucky hasn’t won at home since Jan. 20 vs. Georgia, which makes the team’s Tuesday’s home tilt against Ole Miss all the more important.

The No. 17 Wildcats will still more than likely make it to March Madness, but they’ll be a long shot to actually bring home a national title at this rate.

However, getting that next home win might be just as important. For a program that prides itself in home court advantage, this is not a streak the Wildcats are going to want to continue in the slightest.

Kentucky center Zvonomir Ivisic cleared to play by NCAA

Croatian center Zvonomir Ivisic has finally been cleared by the NCAA and can suit up for John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats right away.

A great start to the season for the Kentucky Wildcats just got better with the news that Zvonomir Ivisic, a freshman center from Croatia, has been granted immediate eligibility by the NCAA.

“Hey BBN, guess what? I’m free,” Ivisic posted on social media. “See y’all tonight at the game. Thank you for all the support. Go BBN!”

Ivisic is a 7’2 center with rim protection skills and the ability to space the floor, but after arriving in Lexington back in October the NCAA did not grant him eligibility while investigating if he had previously been paid to play while in Europe.

Coach John Calipari had expressed frustration with the process as recently as this week, and indicated he was not planning to redshirt the big man if he was granted eligibility.

“He’s just a great kid and he deserves it,” he said. “If he becomes eligible, I’ll play him. I don’t know how much.”

“Hopefully we hear something,” Calipari continued. “I just know that around the country, people are being very aggressive when it comes to different stuff with the NCAA. My hope is if this thing lingers too much longer, we become aggressive too.”

Kentucky hosts Georgia on Saturday, although it is unclear at this time if Ivisic will suit up against the Bulldogs or not.

WATCH: Texas A&M guard Manny Obaseki wrecks the rim vs. No. 6 Kentucky

Amid Texas A&M’s home matchup vs. No. 6 Kentucky, junior guard Manny Obaseki wrecked the rim with a sweet one-handed dunk.

So far this season, Texas A&M Basketball, outside of star guard Wade Taylor IV’s memorable 34-point outing in the Aggies’ non-conference loss to Houston, but in their third SEC game of the year, hosting No. 6 Kentucky, junior guard Manny Obaseki likely reserved a spot in Sports Center’s Top 10 on Saturday afternoon.

With just under 12 minutes left in the first half, both teams were shooting lights out from fields, as the Aggies’ anemic offense over the last two weeks suddenly found life, leading to one of the best dunks you’ll see all year, as Obaseki drove left, found some room, and elevated for a one-handed slam, as the former blue-chip prospect lived up to his much anticipated athletic prowess.

So far this season, Manny Obaseki has only averaged 5 points, 1.2 rebounds, and 0.7 assists while coming off the bench for most of the year, appearing in 15 games. Head coach Buzz Williams will need the offense to find its groove in the second half for the Aggies to earn a much-needed victory over an elite Kentucky team.
