The 20 best Kelly Clarkson covers (AKA Kellyoke!) from her talk show

The best Kellyoke covers we’ve seen from Kelly Clarkson over the years.

Kelly Clarkson is a legend, of course, and her daytime talk show has been a joy to watch since it started running in 2019.

But we’re here to concentrate on “Kellyoke,” in which Clarkson performs a song with her band that’s usually a cover of a tune by a famous artist. It seems like every time she drops a classic, fans are sharing it everywhere.

So, with that in mind, we’re going to put together an all-time, definitive list of the 20 best that you need to watch and listen to. And, who knows, maybe this list gets updated as she continues to sing them?

Away we go, in no particular order:

14 performers for Rockefeller Christmas tree lighting, including Kelly Clarkson and Keke Palmer

‘Tis the season!

The 2023 holiday season is in full force now with Thanksgiving in the rearview mirror, and after the Macy’s parade last week, people are turning their attention to other holidays like Christmas — if they weren’t there already.

The annual Christmas tree lighting at Rockefeller Center is set for Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 8 p.m. ET, and to celebrate the holiday season, NBC has a variety of musical superstars performing for the network’s annual Christmas in Rockefeller Center special.

Kelly Clarkson will host the special and is expected to perform some of her holiday songs, and thanks to a report from PEOPLE magazine earlier this month, we know who else will be on stage for the tree lighting.

Here’s a look at some of the people expected to perform, per PEOPLE:

WATCH Kirk Cousins sing a duet with Kelly Clarkson

The star quarterback had quite a moment with Kelly Clarkson at the NFL honors on Thursday

The Minnesota Vikings’ starting quarterback has many talents but one that isn’t seen often is his ability to sing isn’t seen often at all.

Right before the NFL announced the 2023 Hall of Fame class, Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins came onto the stage with a lot of chains around his neck and started singing a parody of Since You’ve Been Gone with Kelly Clarkson on the stage as an homage to the retired Tom Brady. It was glorious to see Cousins come out and just have a good time.

The song itself was essentially thanking Brady for retiring so others could have a chance. He’s spot on since Brady made the Super Bowl in 10 seasons as a starter.

Kelly Clarkson hilariously roasted Tom Brady with a cover of ‘Since U Been Gone’ at the NFL Honors

Kelly Clarkson took a shot at Tom Brady’s thirst traps in a hilarious cover.

Kelly Clarkson hosted the 2023 NFL Honors on Thursday and, as expected, gave fans a performance to remember with a roast of Tom Brady to boot.

The singer-songwriter turned television personality became the first woman to host the event and came out firing with some incredible burns in her opening monologue. Given Clarkson’s prestigious singing career, it was no surprise that she’d eventually break out into song during the event.

At first, the NFL Honors producers trolled her as George Kittle covered “My Life Would Suck Without You” with a serenade about the San Francisco 49ers season alongside Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey. Then later, Cam Jordan covered “Breakaway” with an ode to Sean Payton.

The real star of the show, however, came when Clarkson herself roasted Brady and his thirst traps with a cover of “Since U Been Gone”!

Definitely worth all the build up!

The NFL Honors kept teasing Kelly Clarkson singing, only to hilariously fake out to players

The NFL Honors producers had a fun time trolling Kelly Clarkson.

Kelly Clarkson hosted the 2023 NFL Honors on Thursday and, as expected, there were so many singing jokes.

The singer-songwriter turned television personality became the first woman to host the event and came out firing with some incredible roasts in her opening monologue. Given Clarkson’s prestigious singing career, it was no surprise to see the on-stage band troll her with her own songs during the event.

Hilariously, instead of Clarkson singing like many expected, fans were faked out with NFL players covering her songs. George Kittle covered “My Life Would Suck Without You” with a serenade about the San Francisco 49ers season alongside Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey.

Kittle certainly belted that with passion, I’ll say that.

Later in the show, Cam Jordan hilariously covered “Breakaway” with an ode to Sean Payton.

I appreciate the NFL Honors crew’s trolling but man, they should have just let Clarkson cook up there! We know how good of a singer she is and I’m sure the NFL players in attendance wouldn’t have minded an impromptu performance.

WATCH: Cameron Jordan performs musical tribute to Sean Payton at NFL Honors

Cameron Jordan performed a musical tribute to Sean Payton at the NFL Honors ceremony, advising his old coach to stay in the AFC:

Now there’s something you don’t see every day. Cameron Jordan performed a musical tribute to his old coach Sean Payton at the NFL Honors gala on Thursday night, advising his old coach to stay in the AFC. Complete with backup singers and a fantastic two-piece suit, the big New Orleans Saints defensive end took center stage and, for a time, turned the annual awards ceremony into more of a variety show.

Jordan crooned to the tune of Kelly Clarkson’s iconic single “Breakaway” — with a bemused Clarkson grinning nearby as the event’s emcee — and took a parting shot at Russell Wilson while bemoaning some of his bitter tweets towards Payton since he retired and un-retired to come back and coach the Denver Broncos. It’s just tremendous, and a great display of Jordan’s charisma. His big personality is going to serve him well once he’s ready to hang up his cleats and pursue a media career in earnest.

Kelly Clarkson roasts Browns at NFL Honors: ‘restored order to the universe by doing a bunch of dumb Browns stuff’

Kelly Clarkson did not hold back.

It was an unbelievably chaotic and underwhelming season for the Cleveland Browns, marred by headline stories following the trade of quarterback Deshaun Watson. And NFL Honors host Kelly Clarkson was not shy about roasting them for their disappointing 2022 campaign:

“It was a crazy season. Thankfully the Browns restored order to the universe by doing a bunch of dumb Browns stuff, so that happened.”

Despite a rocky start for Browns fans, there is a legit reason to watch the NFL Honors as they will be announcing the Hall of Fame class of 2023 inductees tonight as Joe Thomas awaits to hear good news.
