Wisconsin offers class of 2026 wide receiver from Tennessee

The Wisconsin Badgers football team extended a scholarship offer to Keeyshawn Schneider, a 6-foot-0, 175-pound wide receiver from Chattanooga, Tennessee, on Tuesday.

Schneider has now received offers from six different Division 1 programs. Those include Auburn, Colorado, Kentucky, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Wisconsin. To this point, the Badgers are the only Big Ten team to offer him, but that will likely change sooner rather than later.

Wisconsin has revamped its offense over the last two years. It hired head coach Luke Fickell, who was able to reel in the team’s highly respected offensive coordinator Phil Longo. Longo brought his “Air Raid” offense with him from North Carolina, but it didn’t necessarily lead to great passing success in 2023.

Moving forward, there’s a belief that the Badgers will leave their ground and pound, “three yards and a cloud of dust” offense behind and embrace a more dynamic approach. Athletes like Schneider will keep an eye on Wisconsin’s offensive progression this season.

Tennessee offers 2026 wide receiver Keeyshawn Schneider

Tennessee offers 2026 in-state wide receiver Keeyshawn Schneider.

Tennessee offered a scholarship to 2026 wide receiver Keeyshawn Schneider.

Blessed to receive an offer from the University of Tennessee,” Schneider said.

The 6-foot, 175-pound wide receiver prospect is from McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

There are not recruiting rankings currently for Schneider from Rivals, 247Sports, On3 or ESPN.

The Vols are the third Southeastern Conference school to offer a scholarship to Schneider. Vanderbilt offered a scholarship to the 2026 prospect on Oct. 13, 2023 and Kentucky offered on Jan. 14, 2024.

Schneider has scholarship offers from Tennessee, Colorado, Vanderbilt and Kentucky. Alabama has also shown interest in Schneider.

Colorado was the first school to offer a scholarship to Schneider on Sept. 8, 2023.

Just offered by Colorado, Keeyshawn Schneider puts together a highlight worthy of ‘Primetime’

Keeyshawn Schneider makes a big touchdown catch for McCallie.

Keeyshawn Schneider certainly knows a thing or two about timing. Offered this week by Colorado football, Schneider put together quite the impressive highlight on Friday night.

A class of 2026 recruit at McCallie High School (Chattanooga, Tennessee), Schneider showed a little bit of everything with his 57-yard touchdown catch-and-run on Friday night.

On a flat route, Schneider got to the edge and patiently followed a blocker to get into open space. The wide receiver then jukes to get down the sideline, allowing another blocker to get him some separation.

At this point, he turns on the jets and does just enough to evade one final would-be tackler for the touchdown run.

Last Friday, Colorado and head coach Deion Sanders offered Schneider, marking his first Power Five offer. It is easy to see why in this highlight.

In fact, this play showed hints of Deion Sanders the football player with the pure speed as well as the elusiveness.

As a sophomore last year, Schneider had seven carries for 124 yards and two touchdowns. He also had 10 receptions for 179 yards and two touchdowns.
