Tuscaloosa, AL native Kamari Lassiter, who 247Sports Composite ranks as the No. 26 cornerback in the 2021 class, has finally announced where he will be playing college football next year.
Lassiter was between Auburn, Clemson, Georgia and Georgia Tech but ultimately decided on Athens as his new home.

Lassiter said in his recruitment video that he’s coming home. Lassiter was born and raised in south Georgia, mostly Savannah prior to moving to Tuscaloosa.
Lassiter will join a squad of elite Georgia defenders that will likely have a number of NFL Draft selections after this season.

Georgia now has the 6th best recruiting class in the 247Sports Team Composite rankings for the 2021 class.
