Auburn trending for offensive lineman committed to Pac-12 program

Auburn missed out on Kahlil House originally but they are not done yet.

Auburn has already flipped two prospects this recruiting cycle and they could be closing in on No. 3.

The Tigers heavily pursued three-star offensive lineman [autotag]Kahlil House[/autotag] before he committed to Stanford on June 30 and they haven’t slowed down and one recruiting expert believes that will pay off.

On3’s Cole Pinkston has logged a prediction for House to flip his commitment to Auburn. The prediction comes after the Warner Robbins, Georig product visited Auburn for the Georgia game.

“I saw some things I like to see,” House said. “It was a very exciting game, everybody was super nice again. I’ll never have a bad time at Auburn. It was just a really good visit.”

The visit was House’s fourth to Auburn and first since he committed to Stanford. He is the No. 1092 and No. 101 interior offensive lineman in the On3 industry ranking. He is also the No. 128 player from Georgia.

Auburn currently has just one offensive line commit in four-star [autotag]DeAndre Carter[/autotag] but has emerged as the favorite for three-star offensive tackle [autotag]Edwin Favour[/autotag].

Three star OL Kahlil House chooses Stanford over Auburn

A 2024 lineman high on Auburn’s radar will play his college ball across the country.

A 2024 offensive lineman high on Auburn’s radar has elected to go in another direction.

[autotag]Kahlil House[/autotag], a three-star offensive lineman from Warner Robins, Georgia, had plenty of great things to say about Auburn during his official visit to campus on June 16. However, he visited Stanford the following week and decided that he will play college football across the country.

House announced his commitment to Stanford on Twitter Friday, choosing the Cardinal over Auburn, Ole Miss, Louisville, and Cincinnati.

House tells Jeremy Johnson of On3 that Stanford’s academics were a pivotal reason why he chose the cross-country schools over programs closer to his hometown.

“The education is amazing,” House said. “You can have whatever major you want and they’ll work around football. I don’t have to worry about my major getting in the way of football. They have ways of working around football whatever major you want. It’s beautiful… That played a big role for me.”

Auburn has a total of eight commits for the 2024 recruiting cycle currently, with six holding a four-star rating by 247Sports. The class currently ranks No. 45 according to 247Sports rankings.

Auburn OL target Kahlil House trending towards Pac-12 school

He is set to commit on June 30.

One of the best things [autotag]Hugh Freeze[/autotag] has done since arriving at Auburn has been effectively recruiting the offensive line. The Tigers signed five high school offensive linemen in the 2023 cycle and are looking to sign another big class in 2024.

One of their targets is three-star [autotag]Kahlil House[/autotag] who is from Warner Robins, Georgia, and has taken several trips to the Plains. However, it is looking like he will be spurning the Tigers for the Stanford Cardinal on June 30 when he announces his commitment.

He officially visited Stanford on June 24 and ever since the crystal balls have been pouring in for him to pick the Cardinal, with all four predictions from 247Sports writers having him committing to Stanford over Auburn, UCF, Ole Miss and Cincinnati.

House spoke with On3’s Jeremy Johnson after his visit and talked about how the visit ended his concerns about being so far from home.

“When I got there and realized the resources that they have and the opportunities they have it was amazing,” he said. “The coaches there are amazing. I just met these people but I feel like I’ve known them for a while.”

On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine also favors Stanford, giving them an 80.5% chance of landing him. Auburn is in second with a 17.1% shot.

Auburn offensive line target Kahlil House sets commitment date

He is deciding between Auburn, Ole Miss, UCF, Stanford and Cincinnati.

[autotag]Kahlil House[/autotag] is ready to wrap up his recruitment.

The three-star offensive lineman will announce his commitment on Friday, June 30, he told On3’s Jeffrey Lee. He plans to reveal his decision “around noon.”

House is from Warner Robins, Georgia, and will be deciding between Auburn, Ole Miss, Stanford, Cincinnati and UCF. He has officially visited each school but Stanford, where he is scheduled to take one on June 24.

Auburn offered the 6-foot-4, 311-pounder a scholarship on June 8 and quickly became a major factor in his recruitment. He returned for an official visit on June 16 and the Tigers quickly became the favorite to land him.

Three-star OL Kahlil House to announce commitment this week

House has recently visited Auburn, Ole Miss, Cincinnati, and UCF.

After earning three commitments last week, Hugh Freeze and the Auburn coaching staff could keep their momentum going this week.

[autotag]Kahlil House[/autotag], a three-star offensive lineman from Warner Robins, Georgia, ended his official visit tour by stopping in Auburn. Following his official visit to the Plains, House told Auburn Undercover he plans to announce his commitment this week.

Joining Auburn in the race for his commitment are Ole Miss, Cincinnati, Louisville and UCF. According to 247Sports, his final visit is Louisville later this week.

Auburn was drawn to House because of his versatility. He tells Christian Clemente of Auburn Undercover that offensive line coach Jake Thornton plans on using him in several ways if he ends up at Auburn.

“Right tackle, guard and center,” House tells Auburn Undercover. “Coach (Jake) Thornton, what he explained to me was if I was to come here he’d start me off at tackle and then move me on inside and I’d develop and learn more.”

In what has become a norm, House also said he enjoys the family-like atmosphere he feels at Auburn.

Auburn offered House earlier this month, and almost immediately became the favorite to earn his commitment. 247Sports has already given Auburn two crystal ball predictions, and On3’s recruiting prediction machine gives Auburn a 73.8% chance to land him.

House stands 6 feet, 4 inches and weighs 300 pounds. He is a three-star interior offensive lineman according to 247Sports and is the No. 86 player from the state of Georgia for the 2024 class.

Recently offered IOL Kahlil House projected to Auburn

The Tigers are suring for the massive offensive lineman.

[autotag]Kahlil House[/autotag] was one of several recruits to visit Auburn for its OL/DL camp this week but he is definitely one of the biggest winners from Thursday’s camp.

The 6-foot-4, 311-pounder was offered a scholarship by offensive line coach [autotag]Jake Thornton[/autotag] afterward and it changed his recruitment, according to a conversation House had with Auburn Undercover’s Jason Caldwell.

“It changed the game,” House told Caldwell. “It changed my recruiting. I plan on setting an OV. I plan on announcing that soon. It’s really changing. I have already shown interest here and have talked about my interest in Auburn because of how close to home it is and Auburn is a big school.”

Despite just entering the race the Tigers have quickly emerged as a team to watch with House naming them one of his top schools alongside “UCF, Cincinnati, Ole Miss, Louisville and Stanford.”

Christian Clemente of 247Sports actually thinks Auburn is the team to beat as he logged a crystal ball for the Tigers to land House on Thursday. It is currently the only prediction of where he will commit.

House is the No. 783 overall player and No. 50 interior offensive lineman in the 247Sports Composite ranking. The Warner Robbins product is also the No. 92 player from Georgia.

The Tigers will have a fight to land him though as he has already taken official visits to UCF and Cincinnati with ones scheduled to Ole Miss (June 12) and Louisville (June 23).
