Auburn offers former Appalachian State, UCF wide receiver

Hugh Freeze and his staff are showing interest in Appalachian State wide receiver Kaedin Robinson, who has over 2,000 career receiving yards.

Auburn football is showing interest in a graduate receiver with over 2,000 career receiving yards.

[autotag]Kaedin Robinson[/autotag], who played the last three seasons at Appalachian State after beginning his collegiate career at UCF, has received an Auburn offer. Robinson shared the news on his X (Twitter) account.

Robinson was Appalachian State’s leading receiver over the last two seasons. After hauling in 905 yards and 10 touchdowns on 67 catches in 2023, Robinson followed suit this season by recording 840 yards on 53 catches with two scores.

According to Pro Football Focus data, Robinson caught 53 of 81 passes thrown his way in 2024 with four drops. He added 259 yards to his total and his longest reception of the season went for 50 yards.

Auburn football is desperate to ramp up its offensive production in 2025, and the coaching staff took a giant step in that direction by adding former Georgia Tech wide receiver [autotag]Eric Singleton[/autotag] from the transfer portal this offseason. Bringing in another receiver such as Robinson to work alongside Singleton, [autotag]Cam Coleman[/autotag], [autotag]Malcolm Simmons[/autotag], and [autotag]Perry Thompson[/autotag] would propel Auburn to SEC title consideration.

Will Auburn look to make a serious push to land Robinson?

UCLA football offers Appalachian State wide receiver

The Bruins extended an offer to another wideout.

Since the end of their first season in the Big Ten, the UCLA Bruins’ roster has already seen a lot of turnover. Losing both players to the NFL Draft and the transfer portal, the Bruins are shaping up to be a very different team in 2025.

This week, the Bruins extended a scholarship offer to a standout wide receiver from an under-the-radar program.

Appalachian State wide receiver Kaedin Robinson entered the transfer portal this offseason and has garnered considerable attention across the football landscape.

At App State, Robinson totaled 2,164 yards and 14 touchdowns with the Mountaineers. In 2024, Robinson averaged a career-best 15.8 yards per catch and over 800 yards and earned All-Sun Belt honors in 2023.

UCLA’s offense struggled to move the ball through the air during the 2024 season, lacking a star wide receiver. While Robinson has spent most of his career in the Sun Belt Conference, his consistency and ability to move the chains makes him an intriguing prospect for the Bruins in the Big Ten.

Looking to inject life into their offense under new offensive coordinator Tino Sunseri, Robinson is a player to monitor as the Bruins reset for 2025.

Michigan football offers yet another transfer portal WR

Michigan football highly covets UConn transfer wide receiver Skyler Bell, but as it’s still working on him, it’s broadening its base of potential wideouts who could wear the winged helmet next year.

Though there are others who reportedly have mutual interest (Clemson WR Tony Stellato and Yale WR David Pantelis), the Wolverines are still working the phones and another has emerged with an offer on Friday.

Hailing from Asheville (N.C.) Christ School, Kaedin Robinson cut his teeth in the JuCo ranks before transferring to UCF and then Appalachian State. Now, he’s back in the portal and shared on social media that Michigan offered.

At 6-foot-2, 205 pounds, Robinson led the Mountaineers with 53 catches for 840 yards and two touchdowns in 2024. He had 67 catches for 905 yards in 2023 and 27 catches for 419 yards in 2022 for App State, and had just one catch for 30 yards and a touchdown for UCF in 2022.

2022 was also the year that new Michigan football offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey was the OC with the Knights, so he has familiarity with what Robinson brings to the table.

Robinson has one year of eligibility remaining.
