67 days until Alabama football kicks off the 2024 season

The Kalen DeBoer era of Alabama football will get underway in just 67 days!

In 67 days, Kalen DeBoer will usher in a new era of Alabama Crimson Tide football, replacing the legendary [autotag]Nick Saban[/autotag] as head coach in Tuscaloosa.

Coach DeBoer and the Crimson Tide will take on the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers on Aug. 31 to kick off the 2024 college football season inside Bryant-Denny Stadium.

At Roll Tide Wire, we will count down the days until Alabama football takes the field.

Much like the No. 68, the No. 67 has not been a very popular number for players of the Crimson Tide. The last scholarship player to wear No. 67 was offensive lineman [autotag]Joshua Casher[/autotag].

The former four-star out of St. Paul’s Episcopal in Mobile, Ala. wore the number for five seasons from 2014-18. Walk-on Braxton Wetzler currently wears No. 67 for the Tide.
