Bills’ Week 6 opponent, the Chiefs, now have COVID positive player

Buffalo Bills Week 6 opponent, the Kansas City Chiefs, have COVID-19 positive test in QB Jordan Ta’amu.

The Buffalo Bills will play the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. After that, their next two opponents are now teams that have players who have tested positive for COVID-19.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Chiefs practice squad quarterback Jordan Ta’amu has tested positive for the virus on Saturday. Ta’amu’s positive result comes just a short time after the Patriots’ positive test via quarterback Cam Newton. The Pats announced that one earlier in the day on Saturday

The Chiefs and Patriots were actually scheduled to play on Sunday, but that game has since been postponed. Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, that game will be played on either Monday or Tuesday.

Prior to facing the Chiefs on Oct. 15 on Thursday Night Football in the NFL’s Week 6 of action, the Bills are slated to play the Titans. That game is in serious jeopardy, though. The Titans have had a massive outbreak of COVID-19 over the past few days.

On Saturday, the total number of members in the Titans organization to test positive for the virus grew to 16, half of which are players.

In the grand scheme: the Bills play the Titans in Week 5, the Chiefs in Week 6 and the Patriots in Week 8 and all three of those teams have COVID-19 positive players on their roster.
