Arkansas State OL Jordan Rhodes invited to Saints rookie minicamp

Arkansas State offensive guard Jordan Rhodes has been invited to the New Orleans Saints rookie minicamp:

Here’s another name on the invite list for New Orleans Saints rookie minicamp, per K8 News anchor Logan Whaley. Former Arkansas State offensive lineman Jordan Rhodes received an invitation to try out at the team facility in a few weeks along with many other first-year pros.

Rhodes has great size for the NFL at 6-foot-4 and 335 pounds, with 34-inch arms. He’s taken a winding path to get here after transferring to Arkansas State from Ole Miss and South Carolina, having played a lot of snaps at both guard spots through his college career. He’s only allowed 3 sacks and drawn 8 penalties on over 1,500 snaps in college so there might be something here. Good luck to him in his tryout.

Broncos host OL Jordan Rhodes on top-30 visit before NFL draft

Broncos host OL Jordan Rhodes on top-30 visit ahead of NFL draft.

The Denver Broncos have (or soon will) host Arkansas State offensive lineman Jordan Rhodes on a top-30 visit, according to KPRC-TV’s Aaron Wilson. NFL teams are allowed to host up to 30 non-local prospects at their facility leading up to the draft each offseason.

Rhodes (6-6, 300 pounds) played at South Carolina and then Ole Miss before eventually landing at Arkansas State ahead of the 2022 season. He started 11 games at right guard last fall, earning honorable mention All-Sun Belt recognition as a graduate student.

Rhodes started 21 games in four college football seasons (he opted out of the 2020 COVID-19 season). He will likely be a late-round or undrafted free agent prospect later this month.

The latest pick the Broncos hold right now is No. 195 overall in the sixth round. Barring a trade down, Denver might be more likely to target Rhodes as a UDFA target than to draft him.

The NFL draft will be held in Kansas City from April 27-29.

Bengals to host OL Jordan Rhodes for private workout before NFL draft

A high-upside visit for the Bengals before the draft.

The Cincinnati Bengals have been busy on the NFL draft trail, especially after the scouting combine thanks to visits and pro days.

One of the more interesting visits lately? According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2, the Bengals will host Arkansas State offensive lineman Jordan Rhodes on a private workout.

Rhodes, 6’6″ and 300 pounds, might sound familiar to college football fans because he transferred from South Carolina to Ole Miss in 2021, then transferred to Arkansas State as a graduate last year.

The Bengals remain on the hunt for improved depth across the board on the offensive line, with Rhodes boasting reps at multiple positions and projecting nicely as a mid-to-late-round guard.
