Browns place Jarvis Landry on the active/PUP list

Landry is still rehabbing from his offseason hip surgery

Jarvis Landry will begin the Cleveland Browns training camp on the active/physically unable to perform list. The Browns placed Landry on the PUP list on Sunday after the veteran wideout took his physical.

Landry is still recovering from offseason surgery on his hip and pelvis. He is on track in his rehabilitation and has had no setbacks, per ESPN’s Jake Trotter.

Placing Landry on the PUP list means the team gains a roster spot for another player to practice while Landry continues his rehabilitation. “Juice” will be able to come off the list at any time prior to the start of the season.

Fellow wide receiver J’Mon Moore was also placed on the active/PUP list following his physical. He is dealing with a hamstring injury.
