Oddsmakers don’t see Jets winning many games in 2020

Odds makers believe another 7-9 season would be a win for NY Jets.

After a disappointing start to the 2019 season, Gang Green rallied to come up one win short of five-hundred.

Despite a three-win increase from the year prior, oddsmakers aren’t expecting another uptick in 2020.

BetOnline released its over/under win totals for every AFC team next season. Tied with the second-worst mark in the conference are the Jets at 6.5 wins.

New York shares that number with Jacksonville, with only two teams pegged at a lower total. Both Cincinnati and Miami are tied for an AFC-worst 5.5 wins in 2020. Staying in the division, the Patriots (10.5) and Bills (8.5) are being held to a higher standard.

The over/under totals are greater than 10.5 wins for just two AFC franchises. The defending champion Chiefs boast the highest total of 11.5 wins, with Baltimore close behind at 11.

The five best totals in the AFC belong to Kansas City, Baltimore, New England, Pittsburgh (9) and Buffalo.

On the opposite end, the fifth-worst totals belong to the Raiders (7), followed by the Jaguars, Jets, Bengals and Dolphins.
