Steelers vs Jets: Inactives for both teams in Week 7

Here are the Steelers and Jets inactives for this week’s game.

The Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Jets square off in the Sunday night prime-time matchup and it will be a battle of two future Hall of Fame quarterbacks. The Jets are hoping the addition of wide receiver Davante Adams will aid Aaron Rodgers in getting some life in the passing game, while the Steelers have turned to Russell Wilson to do the same thing for the Steelers.

Here are the full lists of inactive players for both teams. For the Steelers, there are no big surprises here but it does mark the return of outside linebacker Alex Highsmith. The Steelers will also be without rookie Roman Wilson how suffered an injury in practice this week.

Jets Week 17 inactives: Allen Lazard out with illness

Allen Lazard is out for the Jets with an illness while Amari Cooper will not play with a heel injury.

The Jets announced their Week 17 inactives against the Cleveland Browns. Three were already known earlier this week: quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers and Zach Wilson plus tight end Jeremy Ruckert. Rodgers is out with the Achilles injury while Wilson and Ruckert both have concussions. Trevor Siemian will start with Brett Rypien as the backup.

Wide receiver Allen Lazard was also ruled inactive. He was dealing with an illness.

The rest of the players inactive Thursday include cornerback Bruce Hall, offensive lineman Austin Deculus and defensive lineman Carl Lawson.

On the other side, big injury news for Cleveland as wide receiver Amari Cooper will not play with a heel injury. It seemed like he was going to play, but like Tyreek Hill two weeks ago, Cooper ends up being a late scratch. Former Jet Elijah Moore could see more targets as a result.

The Browns inactives:

WR Amari Cooper
LB Anthony Walker Jr.
K Dustin Hopkins
P Corey Bojorquez
DE Ogbo Okoronkwo
C Luke Wypler
DE Sam Kamara

Jets announce inactives vs. Chargers: Allen Lazard, Adrian Amos will play

Allen Lazard and Adrian Amos are in, Carl Lawson and Randall Cobb are out for Week 9

The Jets have announced their inactives for their Week 9 Monday night showdown against the Los Angeles Chargers. Wide receiver Allen Lazard and safety Adrian Amos, who were both listed as questionable for the game, are both active and will play.

One wide receiver who will not play is Randall Cobb. After being inactive last week due to a shoulder injury, Cobb is a healthy scratch this time around. Cobb had no game designation but will be out for a second straight week. Jason Brownlee is back on the inactive list after playing last week. The Jets called up Malik Taylor from the practice squad. He and Irvin Charles will be behind Lazard, Garrett Wilson and Xavier Gipson.

Carl Lawson is out again. What once seemed like a rotation of a defensive lineman being the odd man out has landed on Lawson more often than the others. Lawson started expressing frustration with his depleted role. This certainly won’t make him feel any better.

Rookie linebacker Zaire Barnes is active for the first time this season as Chazz Surratt is out with an ankle injury. The other inactives Monday are running back Israel Abanikanda, defensive back Jarrick Bernard-Converse and offensive lineman Dennis Kelly.

James Robinson active as Jets announce Week 9 inactives

James Robinson is active

Despite being a late add to the injury report Saturday with a knee injury, Jets running back James Robinson is active for Week 9 against the Buffalo Bills. There was some slight concern about the knee but he looks ready to go and the Jets will have him, Michael Carter and Ty Johnson in the backfield as Zonovan Knight is among the inactives.

Wide receiver Denzel Mims and defensive lineman Bryce Huff are also inactive for the third time this season. Rounding out the inactives Sunday are tight end Lawrence Cager (C.J. Uzomah is back and Tyler Conklin and Jeremy Ruckert will join him) and cornerback Bryce Hall.

The Los Angeles Rams will host the winless New York Jets on Sunday from SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, stream the NFL action live.

The Los Angeles Rams will host the winless New York Jets on Sunday from SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

The Rams have been cruising along this season and sit at 9-4 on the season and looking for their 10th win. They have won five of their last six home games while Jared Goff has thrown for over 3,500 yards this season. As for the Jets, they are still winless in 13 games and not playing very well ball this season. Sam Darnold has struggled under this coaching staff and I’m sure he is not far away from some changes in the organization.

Can the Jets get their first win this afternoon against the Rams? Tune in and find out, here is everything you need to know to stream the action today!

The Patriots come into this game with a record of 2-5 for the year, they’ve struggled this season and will look to turn things around against the 0-8 Jets on MNF. Sam Darnold and the Jets are still looking for their first win of the season, maybe tonight is the night in the battle of the basement.
